Very sunny and absolutely central apartment, located in a historical neighborhood (São Paulo) right on the frontier with Santos-o-Velho, area known as Lisbon’s design district. Totally renovated (Renovation ended in March 2008), very comfortable and functional decoration, simple but with taste and attention to detail. FREE Wireless Internet and Cable TV (more than 60 international channels). The apartment is situated on a calm street but within walking distance to the busiest day and night time areas in town (Santos, 24 de Julho, Bairro Alto, Bica, Chiado, Cais do Sodré). Very close to all main transportation. Subway station – 5m walk. Tram and bus stop at the door. Train station – 5m walk: direct train to all the beaches of Estoril’s Coast and Cascais. Ferry station – 5m walk with connection to all the beaches of Costa de Caparica and to the south. At walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, museums and all that the city has to offer.

My sister and I just came back from a wonderful 10-day vacation in Portugal and Spain. We opted for an apartment in lieu of a hotel. I am glad we did! The people in Portugal were the nicest and the most genuinly friendly people I have ever met. Our host was definitely one of them. Our fantastic host, Jose Luis greeted us with open arms and heart. He helped us plan our trip, recommended places for us to eat, as well as simply chatting with us, making us truly feel at home. The apartment was super clean and tidy and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to feel like they live amongst friends.

Spacieux, soigné et sobrement décoré, j'y ais passé une dizaine de jours avec ma fiancée.

C'est trés central et sans les inconveniants du bruit des quartiers de nuit (ouf!) qui sont à deux pas.

La vue sur le "Christo Rei" est typique. c'est la classe.
Senhor Zé-Luis, le propriétaire des lieux, saura vous recommander de bonnes adresses et les bonnes plages...

Je vous conseil ce nid douillet.

What a great find!

I just want to start by saying how helpful and accomidating the owner, Jose Luis, was before and during our stay. Although he had a very busy work schedule, he was always in touch and was terrific with suggestions for where to eat and what to do when were in Lisbon. Although it may appear a bit intimidating from the ground floor, but once you are in the apartment, you are very safe and really have a feeling for the neighborhood from the balcony. The apartment has everything that is needed during your stay, including a full kitchen and laundry machine. i would highly reccommend this unit, especially for the size, utility and location in relaition to all the activity of downtown Lisbon. Enjoy!

Appartement pleins de charme, aux détails authentiques et ensoleillé, où nous avons passé un séjour magnifique comme si nous s'y habitions, et en plus est hyper romantique.

Nous avons adoré, nous s’y retournerons sûre !

i have just returned from my second stay at this beautiful apartment in lisbon and i am sure that it wasn 't my last one.
after visiting for the first time last year at exactly the same time for only four days me and my friend immediately decided that we wanted to go back-- and this decision was definitely also influenced by the fact that we had found the perfect place to spend our time in lisbon.
we stayed for nine days this time (june 17to26th, 2009).
the apartment is very clean, central, beautifully equipped and gives you a slight idea of actually living there. it is comfortable and makes you wanna stay longer (which also does the city!).
i can highly recommend this place and i have already given contact info to several friends and people who seemed interested in going to lisbon since this apartment is just the perfect place to wake up in the morning, prepare your own coffee, explore the mood of the day on the balcony and start the day before you leave to get another coffee and breakfast. And most definitely after you spent all day outside and just want to return to a comfy... well, home!
