The Downeast Retreat includes ceramic tile, radiant heat floors, spacious accommodations and organic architecture that takes advantage of all your surroundings no matter where you are in the cottage. Wake up to the sunrise over Bois Bubert Island while the ever-changing tides of Pigeon Hill Bay greet you each morning. Watch the local fisherman as they set out to sea for the day’s fresh catch. Take in the salt air as you watch an eagle travel the coastline along the Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuge. Wild blueberries in season, fresh lobster and clams are also only a walk away. Whatever the season, you can always nestle yourself in the spacious loft or cozy nook, listening to the songbirds or the sounds of the peaceful brook.
