This apartment's got it all! Newly renovated, it is clean, stylish and lovely! The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a library with pull-out bed, 1.5 baths, a full kitchen, wireless internet, a computer, cd player and a TV. Linens, towels and kitchen utensils are all included. The apartment is located at Garfield Place and 5th Avenue in Park Slope. It's the perfect location – just steps away from all the action of 5th and 7th avenues, with their many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The subway is two and a half blocks away, with a 15 minute commute into Manhattan. The neighborhood is family oriented, very safe and inviting.

Park Slope Brooklyn is a fantastic place to visit! Its tree-lined picturesque streets filled with historic brownstones have a real neighborhood feel. There are tons of shops, restaurants and bars, and there is a really nice energy on the streets. Everything you could need is here, and the neighborhood has great subway access into Manhattan. The peacefulness of Park slope is a great contrast to the crazy energy of Manhattan, and it is nice to return here after a long day of sight-seeing.

This is a great apartment in a fantastic neighborhood of tree lined streets with lots of character and things to do and see. The apartment has just been thoroughly renovated. It is on two floors of a lovingly restored brownstone townhouse and is impeccably clean. It has its own private entrance and is approximately 1150 sq. feet.

The top floor of the apartment has an open living/dining/kitchen area, as well as a bedroom and full bathroom. The lower floor has two double beds separated by a half bathroom (with a toilet and a sink). Many rentals use the living room as a room for sleeping in. Not this one! It has a living room plus three unique sleeping spaces. (See photos)

There is a computer with cable internet access in the apartment so you can stay in touch through emailing and skype, and for internet searches to help you organize your activities. There is also WiFi, cable TV, a CD player, and a washer/dryer in the unit. The apartment is spotless and inviting, and in one of the best locations in Park Slope for its convenience to all the best restaurants, shops and services. You will love Park Slope - with just the right amount of action/activity combined with a friendly, safe community feel. And this apartment is right in the heart of it all! The subway is 2 1/2 blocks away and takes 15 minutes to reach Manhattan. $50 cleaning fee.

Brilliant Brooklyn Apartment

We rented out this fabulous Brooklyn apartment for our family who were coming to New York for two weeks from London. The owner was very accommodating and let us come to check it out twice prior to their stay, and for four adults and two children we got an excellent price – especially compared to hotels in Brooklyn. We were able to “check-in” early and the owner also gave us two sets of keys which was very convenient.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well-kitted out with bed linen and kitchenware. The owner has done a great job of providing adequate seating in the living room, and a really comfortable place to stay. The duplex layout provides privacy, and access to the garden is a huge bonus for any New York apartment. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly, and within 30 seconds you’re on 5th Avenue, which has all manner of restaurants, bars and boutiques to keep you occupied; and the subway is just two blocks away on 4th Avenue. There’s a lot to see and do in Brooklyn and this apartment is central to all of that.

The only drawback to the apartment was that with two children under three years old the open stairs were a little precarious, but for families with older children this would be a great place to stay. The owner has provided a computer with free wi-fi which is incredibly useful and convenient for visitors, books, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. There’s an enviable amount of closet space and the apartment feels both safe and homely, but modern enough to feel like you’re staying in a hotel.

We would definitely rent this apartment again.

Great for a family

My husband and daughter and I just spent a week at this wonderful two story apartment. For the same price we would have paid for a hotel room, we got three bedrooms, a kitchen (super convenient!), washer & dryer, internet access (yay!) and a little back deck full of greenery. The neighborhood is beautiful, tree-lined and safe, and you're just a few blocks from Prospect Park - great for kids! The market on the corner had everything we needed, Blue Ribbon Sushi around the corner was great and the nearby subway was a quick ride to the city. A lovely, quiet place to come home to after a day of fun - Thanks Jayson!
