This modern three-bedroom two-bath ranch style home has been updated and decorated as a relaxing desert vacation retreat. The sunny private walled front yard area offers a heated pool and hot tub in a desert landscape with mature palm trees and surrounding mountain views. The shady backyard lawn area provides a cool refuge from the sun, or a place for children and pets to run and play. This home is located in a quiet, friendly, family neighborhood close to Demuth park and all the shopping, dining and recreation that Palm Springs is famous for. The home sleeps six with a King Master bedroom including private bath, and two Queen Bedrooms -- making it a perfect fit for a family or up to three couples. Each bedroom has its own TV/DVD, with a 42' HDTV [HBO/Showtime] in the living room. The kitchen is complete, including microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, coffee and espresso maker, cookware, dishes and seating for six at the dining table. All you need are groceries to prepare a full meal!

Airport noise is slight and very infrequent because most of the air traffic comes in and out of the North end. The downtown area is 1.5 miles straight down Ramon Rd.

A Great Home

We stayed at this house for a week and didn't want to go home. The layout of the house is great. The pool in the front yard is great. Completely private no one can see in or out. We have a 1 year old and he could play in the backyard on the grass and I didn't have to worry about the pool. The house was clean and fully stocked with kitchen gadgets, pool towels, toiletries, some food(spices, etc.). This was a great place to stay with kids and a dog too. Our dog loved the pool and we couldn't keep her out of it. Also, the house was very clean and the pool guy came twice during the time we were there too. It was very close to downtown and just a couple blocks from Knott's Soak City, and very close to grocery stores too. It was a great vacation and we will definitely go back!

This property was recommended to us by a friend. What a great friend! We have been coming to Palm Springs and staying at this property for the past 3 years. We will be returning again in 2010. We love the relaxed comfort of the home and the many extras provided by the owner. It is truly home away from home. The house and yard is always clean and well-maintained. We spend many hours of our day in the pool area, starting with our early morning coffee to watch the mountains change colour as the sun rises and then soaking up the sunshine and swimming and floating in the pool. If we are not out and about, taking in the sights and activities in and around Palm Springs, we enjoy watching the sun set behind the mountains. We love retreating to the back yard for cool mid-day lunches and night-time entertaining. On those nights when we don't feel like doing our own cooking, there is a great selection of restaurants to choose from. Friends and family that come to visit always comment on how peaceful and relaxing it is. As soon as our visit ends we start planning our return visit.

Heaven in Palm Springs

I have been coming down to Palm Springs for my birthday in January for the past 8 years to this wonderful "resort" home. We love the warm winter getaway from cold Sacramento. My boyfriend and I love the privacy by the pool and the beautiful view of the mountains. We sit in the hottub at night while enjoying a libation and the outdoor garden lighting.

This place has all the amenities of home and more; flat screen tv's with DVD/VCR, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchenwares, hair dryers, coffee, huge pool towels, and totally comfy beds to say the least.

There is always so much to do while staying here. We love going downtown and it's so close! We enjoy the shows, hiking, shopping, hitting the slots and golfing. We always feel so relaxed here and even enjoy evenings in BBQing, taking a late night swim and watching a movie.

Every year I look forward to coming back. January can never come fast enough. We are even planning a week's stay with family and close friends this year and hope to make that a yealry event as well.

Kudos to the owners of this property! It's such a fabulous place to stay to get away from it all

Annual Spring Vacation

Our family has been going to this house since our boys were 6 and 10 years old. Now that they are 15 and 11 we still look forward to going. We love that we all get our own rooms, with a TV and VCR to boot. My husband likes that he can retreat to the backyard for the BBQ and a beer if the pool area has too much energy with the boys swimming, floating or making up their water games. I personally, love the hot tub and all the aneminities of a fully stocked kitchen. The pool towels are provided...(one less thing to pack), and we love warming them up in the dryer before our night swim. Wonderful vacation house all the way around. We'll return again this spring, and hopefully many more.
