Golden Acres is a ranch home with 1200+ sq. ft on the main floor and 600+ sq ft in the basement/garage area. Home is fully furnished and located in the center of 3.5 Acres of wooded country meadows and raised flower gardens. An Adirondack Mountain Retreat in a private family development, located between My Parents house and My Brothers house. Area is abundant with wildlife: deer, turkeys, ground hogs, chipmunks, Squirrels and other wildlife & birds. Centrally located to many attractions. 5 Minutes to Bolton Landing & 10 minutes to Lake George Village. Perfect spot for your family to relax after enjoying the many nearby activities. Notes: Home is set up to be comfortable. Main level of house is entered by a flight of stairs, either from basement, deck or front yard, so it's not handicapped or elderly accessible. Kitchen is fully equipped with plates and cooking utensils. Living Room has a Queen Pull-out sofa sleeper and a Reclining love seat and 2 additional recliners. House Interior And Basement are a No-Smoking Area. Smoking is allowed outside. Home has huge deck with wrap around seating and a picnic table for evening cookouts. Campfire pit in the yard with hose located nearby for evening enjoyment. We want the house to be in nice shape to be enjoyable for our guests for many years to come, and so we are very particular about who we rent to. Large Security deposit, Liability Contracts, Background Check Approvals and References are required.

Great Place for a Group Stay

"Golden Acres" is a great house! We were a group of 4 couples, and our stay was extremely comfortable. The house was clean and had everything we needed...especially in the kitchen! The fire pit was tons of fun, and it was very convenient to buy large bundles of wood at the end of the road. The deck is a great place to hang out and just kick back and relax. I definitely recommend this property!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We rented this house during Americade 2009. It was the perfect location.It was close to Lake George and all the activities, but removed enough to be relaxing. The garage worked out great for parking our motorcycles. The house was perfect. The large kitchen and dining area worked so well for our group and we have great memories of our dinners together. Even without the rally in Lake George this would be a great place to stay. There is so much do see and do in the area.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
