My apartment is located in Marbella del Caribe, one of the most sought after vacation locations in Isla Verde. It is located about 5 minutes away from the airport and about 10 minutes from Old San Juan. The apartment will seduce you with the most spectacular ocean views imaginable. The building includes a beautiful swimming pool and tennis courts. Private parking is also available. Being centrally located in Isla Verde, a major tourism area, the building offers the comforts of your home away from home besides being close to supermarkets, banks, dry-cleaners and other conveniences. At night you'll enjoy SAN JUAN'S exciting nightlife being near major hotels, casinos, and fine dining such as the ESJ Towers, Ritz Carlton, Intercontinental, Marriott, and Embassy Suites.

Wonderful place to stay!!

Normally when we visit Puerto Rico we stay with family members throughout the island. This was our first condo rental on the island and we were thrilled with the results. The beach was clean (a tractor came by almost every day and swept the beach). The property managers were so helpful with everything we needed. The building is very secure with a security guard outside the building at all times and only residents can access the building from the beach with the master building key. There were chairs and umbrellas for rent right outside the complex and with very reasonable rates. Tons of restaurants, shopping and casinos within walking distance. The only issue we had was the construction on the street directly in front of the building... Not the worst thing in the world... Very close to everything we needed. I will definitely return.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

It's not a 5 star resort

don't have high expectations stateside

Stayed here in April 2009. The beach and the local area is loaded with trash. There are gates with locks on everything! Two locked gates and a locked door to get to and from the beach. The condo is very basic and the room could use a major cleaning. If you are looking for a low rent vacation, this one will do. There is a Walgreen right across the street and you can buy almost anything you need. Prices are the same as in the states. Rental car was $300 for the week. Roads are terrible and the drivers don't ever follow rules. Get your racing hat on and drive aggressive or you won't get anywhere. Visit Old San Juan, Bio Bay and the rain forest. Other than that, there is not much to do.
