Luxurious former aristocratic house ('Hotel Particulier') with cathedral ceiling in the living room and high ceilings throughout. The high-end villa is in the heart of the a romantic village straight out of the movie 'A Good Year' - inspired by Peter Mayle's book 'A Year in Provence.' The house was inhabited by a host of famous people including a well-known French singer. It has a view of Mont St. Victoire from its fabulous 35 square meter (400 square ft.) terrace where you can enjoy the Provence atmosphere while having your meal outside. The balcony is conveniently adjacent to the dine-in kitchen. The house was entirely renovated in authentic Mediterranean style recently. It has all the Provencal charm you would look for. The house does not have a pool but it has a courtyard and large terrace.

Cucuron is in the heart of the Provence in the protected Luberon national park at the foot of the Luberon mountains. It is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and offers ample hiking, biking and walking opportunities. The village has a several restaurants, bars next to the drinking basin featured in the movie 'A Good Year', supermarket, two boulangeries (bakery shops), butchers, supermarkets, etc. It is 30 min. from Aix-en-Provence as well as Avignon with their music and theater festivals. It is also near the Marseille airport. The nearby town of Pertuis has all the shopping you might want. There are many recreation opportunities including a scenic pond nearby for swimming as well as tennis courts in the village, library with internet access and ample free parking in the village itself.
