Beautiful House, but.....

First of all, my family and I (10 people total) enjoyed our stay at this property. We had lots of room...we enjoyed the pool...the decks...the views...our private walkway to the beach. It was all really great, however there were some things that did bother us such as cleanliness. We even considered that the house wasn't even cleaned prior to our arrival. There was dirt and debris all over the floor, the inside of the refrigerator was dirty, some of the bathrooms were dirty too. We saw a few too many bugs as well. As you can imagine, we spent a lot of time outside! This property showed lots of promise via the internet, but I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. I don't expect perfection, just my money's worth. There is a cleaning service fee, so I believe someone should do some cleaning. Hopefully these issues will be addressed. I'm willing to give this property another chance. I left comments on the feedback form from the reality company, but I haven't heard anything from them.

She is not alone as the reviews we have received "in house" have been OVERWHELMINGLY positive, these are the reviews mentioned in the response as being feedback forms left with the "reality" (realty) company. We will be glad to share these reviews with any potential guests interested in staying in this home.
In reference to the complaints on cleaning, It is VERY possible that the there were issues upon check in. We say this because, there was heavy foot traffic in and out of the house between the check out and check in dates of this renter’s reservation and the one previous. Reason being, we experienced some damage from previous guests and had to get these issues repaired. Contractors do not always leave the property in an acceptable condition. We did drop the ball in checking behind them, HOWEVER, this WILL NOT happen again!!
As for bugs...this is the beach and we have them!!! Please do not come to the beach expecting NOT to see any bugs.
The most unfortunate circumstance in this case is that we did not learn of the dissatisfaction of this renter until her departure. Even more puzzling is that the renter called us on different occasions (regarding having the pool heated) and not once mentioned any complaints (?). Had we been made aware of this complaint immediately we could have had the issue resolved, immediately. The renter states that she does not expect perfection and as much as we try, we are not "perfect". We are capable of making corrections, if notified.
Lastly, we care about our guests and we are proud of our level of service. We are also very proud of "Dolphin Watch" and hope to have you as a guest very soon!!!
