Magnificently restored 16th Century Normandy Manor nestling in a small hamlet close to Sainte-Mere-Eglise and Utah Beach, surrounded by tranquil countryside. Monumental fireplaces, stone spiral staircase and period floors create a medieval atmosphere in rooms on a grand scale. Underfloor heating as well as antique furnishings make a stay at Le Manoir unique. In summer the enchanting gardens are the setting for long alfresco lunches and lazy afternoons. The Cottage which is across the courtyard accommodates two people with ensuite facilities and a cosy sitting room, whilst further accommodation for three singles and the well equipped games room can be found in Stable Cottage. Bayeux with it's famous Tapestry commemorating the Norman conquest of Britain in 1066 and the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral is a short drive away. All the D-Day Beaches are within easy reach as well as many other places of interest.
