It’s the ideal getaway for adults! The home, Casa Mango, located in lovely St. Teresa (Mal Pais area,on the Southern Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica has something for everyone. It’s a spectacular tropical paradise with secluded white sand beaches, turquoise water, and incredible sunsets. St. Teresa is ideal for surfers and wildlife enthusiasts as well of those looking for total relaxation. Casa Mango sits on a hill at the north end of St. Teresa. This newly built villa has amazing views of the ocean from every room! And, you get the best of all worlds: a THREE MINUTE WALK TO BEACH!!!!! in a more quiet section of town, yet still close to great restaurants/bars. Imagine drinking your morning coffee (Costa Rican of course!) from any one of the terraces, while watching the capuchin monkeys pick mangoes for their breakfast – have some yourself too, there’s a grove on the property! End a great day by watching the most incredible sunset right at the house.

Location: Santa Teresa in Costa Rica

Nearest Airport: Tambor at 20 Miles
Nearest Ferry: Puntarenas/Pacquera at 45 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 100 Metres
St. Teresa is part of the Mal Pais area and is 40 Minutes from Tambor Airstrip. Transportation options to St. Teresa from San Jose: 1.) A 30 min flight from San Jose to Tambor (via Sansa), then a 40 min taxi ride. You can also rent a car once you get to Tambor instead of hiring a taxi – Budget & Alamo have offices. 2.) A 5.5 hour drive/ferry (the ferry is really fun!) either in a rental SUV or let someone else do the driving for $40/pp each way. 3.) If you’re adventurous and travel light, you can go to Jaco, stay overnight and take a taxi boat from Playa Heradura to Montezuma – they drop you off on the beach – way cool, then hop in a taxi or rent a car once you get to the peninsula.
