If reserving a stay more than 30 days in the future, we will charge half now, and half 30 days prior to arrival.

    Cancellation and Amendment Policy:
    While we cannot issue refunds, we are happy to modify dates to accomodate your needs, if given 30 or more days notice.

    Why this policy?
    Because our season is short and our rooms limited. While we sympathize with our guests' unforeseen circumstances, if the rental house is penalized for them, we simply cannot stay in business! Thank you for your understanding.

  • The master bathroom is really nice with a big, beautiful new shower with a view to an osprey nest. The guest rooms share a nice full bath with tub/shower combination. Plenty of white cotton towels for your comfort and convenience! There is a cute powder room off the main living area. At the ground level there is an area where you can hang beach towels and take a shower before coming inside.

Notes: There is a lot to do on Tybee Island. Historic downtown Savannah is only a short drive away, with plenty off history, fun parades, and tons of great restaurants and museums. On Tybee you can visit the marine science center and Fort Pulaski. Recreational activities include charters and tours including dolphin tours, water sports, bicycling, and bird and nature trails. There are stores and shops, art galleries, as well as massages and salons. Night life is lots of fun too, with great outdoor restaurants. The bike rental shop delivers, so you can leave the car behind, or just walk your way around the island - on the streets or on the beach.

All the Comforts of Home: Don't get stuck in a tiny condo when you can stretch out in this spacious, luxury townhome with all the comforts of home. In addition to the 2300 plus square feet of living space, there are three covered porches, a back yard, and a two-car garage with ping pong table.

Open Gourmet Kitchen / Living Area: The main living area is very open, light, and spacious with floor to ceiling windows and doors on two sides. You'll have plenty of room to cook, if you want to, in an open kitchen with granite countertops, an island with cooktop and seating, and stainless steel appliances. We've got all the pots and pans you need, and a microwave and dishwasher. There is plenty of room to store your food in the large, clean kitchen cabinets.

Upstairs: All three bedrooms are upstairs. The two guest rooms share a full hall bath, and the master has a large, luxury bath with whirlpool tub and large shower with a view to the osprey nest. Master also has a large walk in closet and its own porch with ceiling fans. The elevator is a help if you are traveling with anyone who requires extra assistance, as there are stairs up to the house. This is a private elevator, not shared with anyone. The townhouse has one unit attached to it on the street side (we are facing the Sally Pearce Nature Trail, which leads to the pretty tidal salt marshes.) We love kids and welcome them. THE MOST AMAZING VACATION HOME!

WOW, talk about a vacation like you dream of! As soon as we pulled into the driveway we were literally jumping out of the car still buckled because the house was so beautiful -- even just from the outside! As soon as we walked in all we could do was sigh. It was perfect -- everything we had wanted for our week-long Tybee vacation. We loved the location--such a nice, quick walk to the beach and Sugar Shack! The beach was so quiet and a nice change of pace from the crazy crowded beaches we normally find ourselves at. The Sugar Shack had outstanding sundaes and milkshakes and we also ordered in from Stingray's one night, because we didn't even want to leave the house to go out to eat! We loved our rooms; the master bathroom is gorgeous; the elevator was soooo convenient for unpacking and packing; Kim really does have everything you need right there! It was a perfect home to bring our beloved dogs to, especially with the cool floor in the basement. We spent hours upon hours at the ping pong table downstairs--talk about fun! And our favorite nights were spent cooking in the amazingly spacious and stocked kitchen, looking out through all the windows. The osprey's nest was really amazing too! And the beach cart sure was handy! We could not have dreamed up a better vacation and we are so thankful to Kim for everything she did to make it perfect. The welcome goody bag when we first arrived set the tone for the trip--and what a great tone that was! THANK YOU KIM AND WE WILL BE BACK! :D

GREAT FALL BREAK.

We had a great weekend with the kids and our little dog Zoe!
The house is wonderful and it had everything we needed for a restful and relaxing long weekend. Tybee Island is very laid back and inviting. Everything is conveniently located and Savannah offers a lot of entertainment as well. The owner made us feel welcome and we had a lot of fun.
We loved Tybee and this wonderful house...We will be leaving tomorrow and we are already making plans to come back.

Awesome Beach House!

The property is exactly as described, very well taken care of, clean, and well maintained. We're actually still here, and aren't going to want to leave tomorrow. We'll definitely be back next year, and I would without a doubt recommend this to anyone looking for a quality relaxing home to enjoy for any length of time.

The beach is just a short walk away, and the owner is very friendly with a passion for good service. We were very pleased when we arrived and she had the home setup perfectly for our arrival. The garage, bikes, table tennis, wave runners, elevator, multiple porches (one is off the bedroom with ceiling fans), nature trail beginning in the backyard, friendly neighbors, HE washer/dryer, wine, and adult and kids games both are all nice touches and make the house feel just like home.

We're not going to want to leave tomorrow for sure. We're glad we found homeaway.com which led us to Kim and this wonderful beach house. Can't wait until next time...

This house was so perfect for the beach. My family enjoyed everything about the house. It was the perfect amount of space and the elevator was nice to have for the luggage. We loved every day at the beach and enjoyed visiting Savannah. We would stay in the house again in a heart beat. It was very well kept and clean. We loved how close this house was to the beach and loved riding bikes around. The owner has everything you need for the week right there at the house. I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a beach house for the week. Thank you so much!

The Perfect Getaway

We stayed at this beach house for a week and could have moved right in! There was not one thing that was missing for a fabulous week at the beach. Tybee Island is perfect for a getaway where there is enough entertainment for everybody yet not crowded or too busy. The restaurants vary for all tastes and price levels and the teenagers loved walking to the pier several times for ice cream. My history buff 9 year old thought the Tybee Island Lighthouse was the highlight of the trip!! If given a choice of which beach to go to ....Tybee will always win out!
