This house is perfect for families, reunions and friends. A terrific balance of private and shared space on three floors. Walk to the beach or down the driveway to the playing fields. This sun filled contemporary sits on 3 + private wooded acres adjacent to the Rye Harbor State Park and the Rye Recreation area. Deck with outdoor grill, wireless internet - stay connected or ignore it all and enjoy the best of New England from this terrific location. Clean and serene the house features white walls and hard wood floors. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, kids play area and a full bath. The second floor is nothing but sun-filled open living space featuring an all white kitchen, hardwood floors, dining area, sunroom, living room, half bath with washer dryer. Glass door off of the sun room leads to the deck and gourmet gas grill. The top floor, accessed via a spiral staircase leads to the master suite with a full bath and deck.

Rye is located between the towns of Portsmouth & Hampton. The scenic Maine towns of York, Ogunquit & Kennebunkport are each a 20-45 minute drive north. Area antiquing along scenic RT 4 is fun. Plus the best whale watches ever just down the street at the Rye Harbor. Portland, ME & Boston, MA are each an hour away from Rye.

The house is spacious and airy. Extremely clean and neat. No clutter at all, but also well-stocked. Tastefully decorated. Lovely views and very private. Highly recommended.

A peaceful retreat

The house was grand. The mattresses and beds were great. As we said before we were pleased with everything. It was a relief not having to get toilet paper, towels, soap etc right away after a long ride. Thank you for stocking things it was greatly appreciated.

We would be interested in renting again unsure of dates however at this time. I would without hesitation recommend this peaceful, relaxing place to anyone. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Vacationing with kids was a delight

The place is great. The home, is huge and has a comfortable lived in feel and is well stocked with necessities, making it so much more enjoyable. We added some hot sauce to the picture. The trash was easy to deal with.

The kids room and separate TV are great! The collection of books was also great. The heat and kitchen and appliances were all perfect. And the key setup works. We are picky tenants, hotel snobs and all around critical people. You get 5 stars from us. :)

a fantastic time at your house

I had a great time staying at your house - total relaxation! you have a fabulously peaceful location and I would return any time. The house itself is very cozy, well kept and clean.
My favorite corner was the inside-sun-balcony where I could sit quietly, read my book and soak some of that lovely sun :)
Can't wait for those kayaks... I bet it would be a blast.
