The Vermillion Ranch is located on the Yellowstone River. Harrison house is a great place for a family reunion. The fishing, hiking, and other activities will keep everyone busy. House is fully equipped with cable, WIFI, beds for 10, and is completely stocked with linens, kitchen ware, and grill ware. The ranch is protected by a conservation easement and has great birdlife and wildlife populations. Big Timber and Livingston are a short drive away and offer an eclectic mix of shopping opportunities. For the horse enthusiasts, local outfitters can take you on rides to mountain lakes or moutain meadows. Vermillion Ranch is the perfect location for a quiet vacation that will offer something for every member of your family.

We are located on the Yellowstone River outside the town of Big Timber which is halfway between Bozeman and Billings. From our ranch, within a very short drive, you can fish the Boulder River, the Stillwater River, and countless mountain lakes and streams. It is a part of Montana that still feels like Montana and has the rural flavor that has made Montana, 'The Last Best Place.'

  • There are four conforming bedrooms that can sleep 7 to 8 very comfortably. Additionally, we have a pull out futon/couch in tv room downstairs and a bedroom that does not have a legal egress window which also has a twin bed. With these two additions, the house can easily sleep 10.
