Das Anwesen liegt ca. 3 Km von Cecina und 2 Km von Montescudaio entfernt. Die Aussenanlage befindet sich in einem guten Zustand. Wir waren mit 7 Personen im 2. Stock untergebracht. Davon waren 2 Kinder im Alter von 3 und 6 Jahren dabei. Das Appartement hatte leider nur 2 Schlafzimmer und keinen Balkon. Die dritte Schlafgelegenheit war in der Küche mit einem Klappbett. Die Ausstattung kann man als sehr spartanisch bezeichenen. Der Pool ist für Nichtschwimmer ungeeignet da er eine Tiefe von ca. 1,60 Meter hat. Nicht weit entfernt liegt eine Ferienanlage mit Pizzeria und in Montescudaio eine Osteria die man weiterempfehlen kann. In Cecina gibt es ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ein Krankenhaus.

Unser Urlaub in den Sommerferien mit 2 Kindern (11 + 14)auf dem Landgut Pogiali war ausgezeichnet und ist weiter zu empfehlen. Die Ausstattung der 80qm große Wohnung entsprach unserer Vorstellung und war gut ausgestattet. Durch die hohen Decken und dicken Mauern konnten wir nachts sehr angenehm schlafen.Die Kinder hatten im Pool viel Spaß. Die Außenanlegen wurden sehr gepflegt und der eigene Wein schmeckte wirklich gut. Natürlich gibt es in der Toskana viel zu sehen. Für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Sienna, etc., zum Strand oder zum Einkaufen ist ein Auto zwingend notwendig.

Sauber, schön gelegen und große Wohnungen

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und es gibt eigentlich nichts zu meckern an unserer Ferienwohnung bei Montescudaio. Die von uns gemieteten Räumen waren riesig, nur das Badezimmer war eher klein. Alles funktionierte bestens, es war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und damit bot die Wohnung die Grundlage für schöne Tage in der Toscana. Allerdings waren die Wohnungen sehr hellhörig. Man sollte sich auch auf kleine Kinder einstellen. Die anderen Wohnungen waren alle mit Familien und vielen kleinen Kindern besetzt. Aufgrund der Hellhörigkeit war es auch nachts daher nicht immer ruhig.
