Relax on the deck of this remodeled 1930's cabin located directly on the banks of the St. Vrain River. Secluded from the only neighbor by a large lilac hedge. Hummingbird Cottage is situated on a level acre of land flanked on one side by the rushing river. Read a book in the large bay window seat while listening to the birds outside. Try your hand at fishing from the deck or the private bridge. Enjoy a nap on the deck. Croquet and badminton sets are available for use (located in the shed). Pristine hardwood floors, a pedestal sink, vaulted ceilings with skylights, vintage furniture, crystal chandeliers, and goose down comforters all await you in this romantic getaway. This is a privately owned/managed cottage. The owner is nearby to answer any questions and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our online calendar is always kept up to date. Located approximately seven miles from Estes Park or about 12 minutes away, where you'll find hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, site seeing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, listening to the elk bugle, horseback riding, hiking, climbing, as well as shopping and dining out and riding the gondola to the top of the mountain to hand-feed the chipmunks. Take a short drive (15 minutes) to the historic town of Lyons, where four music festivals are held during the summer months, and more hiking trails than any other town in Colorado.

What a wonderful, quaint, romantic cottage! We really enjoyed our three night stay at this wonderful cottage. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The views are gorgeous and the river was beautiful. A great way to celebrate our anniversary!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights, 3 days at this beautifully renovated stremside cottage. The cottage sits right next to the stream and is very peaceful, romantic and wonderfully decorated with a French country cottage decor. I would really recommend this cottage if you want to relax and listen to the stream and watch the hummingbirds. It is very well equipped with ammenities and ideas of places to visit, etc...We look forward to returning in the near future to really get away from it all and relax!
