Experience the best of Long Island's North Fork at this beautifully decorated beach cottage complete with in-ground pool and expansive yard with organic garden and plenty of room to roam. Featuring 3 bedrooms (1 currently used as a den with sofa bed) 2 full bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The 2nd floor master suite has a walk-in closet, full bath and romantic balcony overlooking the backyard. Washer/dryer in basement. Linens and towels and high-speed Internet access included. Walk to the private community beach on the LI Sound or cross the main road to enjoy the sun and fun at Orient Beach State Park. Plan your Fall getaway and enjoy all the North Fork has to offer - with fun for all ages including vineyard special events, pumpkin picking, haunted houses and the famous corn mazes! A short stroll will take you to the fast ferry, Hampton Jitney stop. Short drive to LIRR in Greenport. Golf, dining, shopping, Orient Village all nearby.

A dream house with dream owners.

Our holiday at this house will be the benchmark for all future vacations.

The house is beautifully appointed and very generously supplied with bed linen and beach towels. It has a happy relaxed atmosphere conducive to having a good time.

The pool is a good size and has a useful shallow area for small kids. We had most of our dinners outside cooked on the large barbecue.

It's in a lovely location with a beautiful community beach in walking distance (although with small kids, I confess we drove...). The water laps in the gentle waves of New England Sound which are lovely to swim in. The nearest town of Greenport is delightful - and exactly the antidote we were hoping for to the pretentions of the Hamptons! Great antique shops.

As well as the house, you could not hope for nicer owners. Their generosity of spirit is apparent in all dealins and everything in the house says - welcome.

We have already started a fund to come back to this house next year.
