Located at the foot of the Karawanks and close to the artificial Drau Lake, it has been possible to harmonically integrate a large vacation settlement with a pleasant holiday atmosphere into the splendid, for the most part, untouched local landscape. In the vacation village itself, you'll find a shop, a heated outdoor pool, a sauna, tennis courts and a boat rental. The tastefully furnished vacation home has a 300 m2 garden (much of it lawn) and offers good conditions for individual rest and relaxation, well away from the tourist centers. Numerous unobtrusive leisure time activities are an inspiration for both young and old alike.

The vacation village is located by Feistritz in Rosental. The 120 km long Drau bicycle path, which snakes along the Drau through fields and forests, passes right by the village. Along with all of Carinthia 's sights and attractions, trips to Italy (e.g. Venice) and Slovenia are also well loved.

Nach langer Fahrt endlich angekommen, fühlten wir uns wirklich 'Herzlich willkommen' - nicht nur wegen der Blumen auf dem Tisch zur Begrüßung. Ein mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Haus, dazu Freizeitmöglichkeiten ohne Ende in der wundervollen Umgebung - unser Urlaub verging leider viel zu schnell, um alles zu erleben, was wir uns vorgenommen hatten. Unsere Tochter war kaum vom Pferdehof wegzubekommen, doch Radtouren, die Tscheppaschlucht oder schöne Bergtouren bis in die Julischen Alpen lockten auch. Wir kommen gern wieder, es warten noch schöne Klettersteige, und auch das Paddeln auf der Drau haben wir nicht geschafft - Danke und bis zum nächsten Jahr! Ferienhaus Rosental Naturerlebnispark Feistritz Kärnten

Im Januar haben wir das Ferienhaus 44 im Naturerlebnispark Rosental gebucht. Da wir 4 Kinder im Alter zwischen 2 und 13 Jahren haben, war es für uns wichtig, dass wir einiges an Infrastruktur haben: Swimmingpool, Sauna, Restaurant, Minimarkt, Rad- und Bootsverleih sowie Miniclub wurden auf der Seite des Naturerlebnisparks angeboten.

Die Buchungsbestätigung des Vermieters führte dann auch einen Hinweis auf die Rezeption und die Ferienanlage – Benutzung natürlich ohne Gewähr.

Jedoch ist der Ferienpark seit Anfang 2009 geschlossen (Auskunft der Gemeinde)!
Alle Einrichtungen geschlossen, der Park wie ausgestorben.

Wir haben den Vermieter sofort angerufen – dieser hätte uns ja informieren können, eigentlich müssen. Seine Auskunft war jedoch, er sei dazu nicht verpflichtet.

Ist mir schon klar, wir hätten nämlich abgesagt. Die Infrastruktur war entscheidend für die Buchung und entsprechende Häuser ohne diese werden ca. 30% günstiger angeboten.

Das Haus war OK, schön eingerichtet und alles da. Leider wird Warmwasser (und im Winter auch die Heizung) über Strom betrieben ,der extra berechnet wird.

Somit hatten wir einen Urlaub mit weniger Erholung und waren sehr viel im Auto: zum Schwimmen, Essen, Einkaufen.
Owner's Response: Mit Bedauern nehmen wir diese Einschätzung zur Kenntnis. Die Gäste waren offensichtlich mit unserem Haus zufrieden, haben aber die Infrastruktur des Feriendorfes bemängelt. Leider hat es der ehemalige touristische Betreiber dieser Anlagen im Feriendorf nicht mehr vermocht, die Sommersaison 2009 noch durchzuführen. Wir sind private Eigentümer eines Ferienhauses im Dorf und haben auf die Angebote des touristischen Betreibers keinen Einfluss. Daher enthält unsere Buchungsbestätigung auch folgenden Hinweis: „Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Rezeption des Feriendorfes nicht für Sie zuständig ist. Für die Angebote des touristischen Betreibers des Feriendorfes können wir keine Gewähr übernehmen.“ Inzwischen gibt es einen neuen Betreiber, der die Infrastruktur (großer beheizter Pool, Restaurant, Laden, Sporteinrichtungen u.a.) ab Frühjahr 2010 – nach Sanierung – wieder in Betrieb nehmen will. Wir sind sehr zuversichtlich, dass unsere Gäste ab der nächsten Sommersaison wieder die Möglichkeit haben, auch attraktive Angebote des neuen touristischen Betreibers (wie z.B. kostenlose Poolbenutzung) in Anspruch zu nehmen.

Gute Lage

Das Ferienhaus bietet sehr viel Platz und ist gut ausgestattet. Die Küche könnte besser ausgestattet sein, z.B. gibt es keinen Ofen. Ansonsten super.

Das Haus steht in einem Feriendorf, das aktuell aber wegen Insolvenz geschlossen ist. Daher ist es sehr ruhig und die ganzen Freizeitanlagen des Feriendorfes können fast alleine genutzt werden.

Radfahren entlang des Stausees ist sehr schön. Es gibt reichlich ausflugsziele in der Umgebung.
