History: Nestled in a peaceful, tree-lined neighborhood in Dunbar is our charming heritage home complete with luscious greenspace and stylish black stucco exterior. Over the years with the help of interior designer, Mila Djuras of Intermind Design, we have updated and transformed every inch of our three-storey house into an elegant bed-and-breakfast retreat. Interior walls on the main level were removed, creating an open space where natural light brightens the room. Italian floor tiles highlight the room's color palette of gray, taupe, black, blue and green. The eclectic mix of furnishings creates an Old World feel. Our home's West Coast Craftsman style is characteristic of the architecture in Vancouver's west side.

High queen size brass bed with side reading lamps. Antique inlaid mahogany furnishings. Generous storage space convenient for longer stays. Corner by-the-window conveniently placed sitting area. In room air conditioning, cable TV and DVD player. En-suite bathroom featuring soaking tub and antique walnut sideboard vanity.

Garden level-Social and dining areas: This refinished area is contemporary and relaxed with its stone fireplace, slate dado and columns, custom designed wood table and leather sofas. A unique round table and six low stools were imported from the Far East. The kitchen features glass tiles, which brings in more natural light. All the windows and three sliding doors are completely transparent to take advantage of the view of the backyard. The space is smart and inviting, comfortable even with large open-concept rooms, and is a delicious blend of natural materials and modern elements.
