Located in the KONA PACIFIC complex just a short walk from the center of Kailua-Kona, this vacation getaway was completely renovated (gutted from top to bottom!) in 2008. From the high-end kitchen with working granite island and countertops to the new title floor throughout the unit -- we've spared no expense to give you a vacation destination you'll want to return to every year! Located on the top floor with a view of the ocean, this unit is extremely quiet. Sit on the deck and enjoy the warm island breezes with a ice cold drink and a good book. The complex offers covered parking, elevator access, an outdoor community pool and gas barbeques. You'll have all the comforts of home -- air-conditioning, six ceiling fans, large master bedroom with king-size bed, master bath with shower for two, washer/dryer, 42' flat screen TV, expanded cable, DVD, IPod stereo, FM/AM, and yes, even high-speed wireless Internet access. But we recommend you turn off your computer and head for the beach!!

This property is located just off scenic Alii Drive and walking distance to the heart of Kailua-Kona. Restaurants, shopping, art galleries, churches, water activities and a public market await you there. Nearby is White Sand Beach Park (a.k.a. Magic Sands) and slightly further is Kahalu'u Beach Park, acclaimed by many to be one of the best snorkeling spots in the Hawaiian islands. This is a popular spot to surf and snorkel! Look for the green sea turtles! We highly recommend you take the time to visit Volcano National Park, The City of Refuge and the Punalu'u Black Sand Beach located on the southwest side of the island. For the really adventurous, make the two-hour drive to Hilo and an evening boat cruise to see lava drip, flow and steam its way into the ocean!

We had the pleasure of staying at this unit while we were in Kona for a week in September 2009; the unit is beautiful; clean and well stocked for anything you can imagine you might need. Everything in the unit was in excellent working order; it is well located and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Blake was very helpful with any questions we had and we had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone who will be visiting the area.

We stayed here in March and had a blast!The unit was very clean and ready for us at check-in. The extra towels were great for our family! The washer and dryer were also great.The walk in shower in the master was a nice touch. The kitchen was great as we tend to try and save on eating out.We made a huge breakfast and ate on the patio every morning.The place has a nice view and was very comfortable. We used the BBQ grills by the pool. The pool house had a refridge and microwave, which was great while getting in the pool. It would be nice to have a few board games or playing cards. We loved the fact that we could walk to Huggos and go to the coffee shop. On the last 2 days the "vog" from the volcano was noticeable :-( This is a beautiful place and we will be back!!!
