Ready for the perfect getaway? Chunky Monkey is just for you!! Discover the serenity of a family vacation. Get out of the rat race and go back in time...a slower time. If you get up early enough you might just see the tracks of female Giant Sea Turtle as she makes her way up the beach to lay eggs and then returns to the sea. Or hunt for that perfect shell as you stroll on the beach in the early morning breeze with your coffee in hand. The dolphins might just follow you as you walk along the beach. They love to frolic early in the morning. Lounge under an umbrella while the kids build sandcastles and swim in the surf. Bring your fishing rods and catch your dinner...the whiting are great. Sip your wine and watch the sunset, while you rock in the big white rockers on any of the three decks. Kids can hide away in their special room with bunk beds and TV. Be sure to go scalloping down at the St. Joe Park in July. It is only a mile or two away. We look forward to hearing from you.

Build bonfires and roast marshmallows, and make smores. Whether you love strolling on the white sugar beach or swimming in the private community pool, you can do it all here at Chunky Monkey. Five houses share the 2 pools.

Scallop Cove Convenience Store, located across the street, provides lots of entertainment for the kids. My kids make 2-3 trips a day for ice cream, candy, you name it! I too find it convenient for that one little thing I forgot to get at the store. Fishing equipment and licenses are also available there. Our family absolutely loves sharing our special vacation home with you. We hope you enjoy it and build as many wonderful relationships as we have here in the serenity and peacefulness of Cape San Blas.
