Due to occupancy by owners, this property is not available until further notice. This tranquil farmhouse is situated three miles outside of historic Mercersburg. Beautiful views of Cove and Two-Top Mountains, with fall colors in season. Just 4 1/2 miles from Whitetail Golf Resort and 6 1/2 miles from Whitetail Ski Resort. Centrally located for Civil War sightseeing - Gettysburg 41 miles; Harper's Ferry 51 miles; Antietam Battlefield 33 miles. Mercersburg is reached easily from both Baltimore and Washington, DC in less than two hours.

  • 'Extra night' rate applies to extra midweek nights only.
  • Damage/reservation deposit due at time of reservation - $200 for 1-2 nights; $50 per additional night - refundable within 14 days after end of rental. Per diem deposit is reduced for longer stays.
    Additional pet deposit: $100 per dog; $25 per cat.
    Payment may be made by eCheck, or by personal check (in which case, funds must clear before start of rental).
    Minimum age for renter (unless accompanied by parent/guardian): 25.
  • Save $152 On Any Weekend March Through Mid-May: only $425, inclusive of tax and cleaning fee, for weekend Friday noon to Sunday evening. Save $107 mid-week: $300 inclusive for a 2 night/2 1/2 day stay. (Refundable security deposit also charged.)

Nearby Mercersburg has several fine restaurants, and the quaint Star Theater shows movies most weekends. The quiet country roads are ideal for cycling, and there are nearby Public Lands and State Parks for hiking, hunting and fishing. Cowan's Gap State Park, with its lake and beaches, is fifteen miles away. Prime Outlets of Hagerstown, with a large variety of outlet stores, is 24 miles away.

Our house is on a sulphur well, and there is an occasional slight sulphur odor from the water. Sulphur water, although not to everyone's taste, is prized the world over for its health-giving properties! Families with young children should be aware there is a swimming pool on the property (although covered and not available for use).
