Fort Lauderdale holiday house

We stayed at this house from Aug 15-22, 2009. There were eight of us (4 couples, all adults). The home was beautiful! It was very nicely decorated. New appliances and a gorgeous kitchen made it FUN to cook alot on our trip which in turn saved us a ton of money!
The pool and outside area were a wonderful and relaxing way to spend our afternoons and evenings and a nice retreat after a long day of sightseeing!
The layout of the house makes it feel warm and cozy, but is large enough that we all felt like we had space and were not on top of each other! 3 full baths made it easy on nights where 4 girls were all getting ready at the same time!
The location of the house was only minutes from the beach, a bunch of great restaurants and only 25 minutes from Miami!
We would definitly stay there again!

Better than we expected!!

We came upon this beautiful home by accident. We were looking for something comfortable for (10) to sleep in and yet not be too pricey. We had called on this home and to our surprise it was available. My husband, our four children and I, along with my in-laws and aunt and uncle stayed in this home for (10) days. Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely "welcome" basket with jellies, jams, bagels & fruits to tide us over in the morning. The house is immaculately clean and could not be any closer to a home away from home. The lay out of the home is great, with the master and another bedroom on one side with the master bath and the other side of the home is three rooms along with 2 bathrooms. One bathroom even opens outside to the pool area to make it nice so you are not walking thru the house all wet. Every morning we would open up the french doors to the beautiful pool area and canal, the sounds of birds chirping and the warm Florida breeze was outstanding. We were walking distance to many things such as a Catholic Church, CVS store and a great park for the kids. The area is gorgeous with magnificant homes all around you on the canal and off. Very clean quiet area with nice neighbors and easy access in and out of the home. The washer and dryer was a Godsent for me, since I was always washing the childrens clothes and towels for the pool. We cooked everyday, and we are an Italian family who loves pasta and home cooked meals, we were not missing anything (pots or pans) in the kitchen. You can even grind your own coffee every morning, which was a nice treat. There is a tv in every room except one and the house was decorated very nicely. We would definetly stay here again, and would recommend it to all. It is also close to the pier, we walked there, but most might drive, that was a nice feature also. You won't be disappointed with this beautiful home!! They also surprised us with little goodies in all the bathrooms if we forgot our toothbrush or tooth paste or nail files, sunscreen, lotion, with beautiful baskets of things... You will enjoy Fort Lauderdale in this Tropical paradise pool home on the waterway. We stayed here from March 9, 2009 to March 19, 2009 and it was not long enough !!
