Excellent location to enjoy New York's daily life

We were a group of 4 friends travelling to NY in October 2009. We had choosed the apartement for its central location + its reasonable price. Located on the Lexington av. a few blocs from the Empire State B, and more closer to a subway station, approximatively 20 to 30 min walk from Time Square, the appartement fits perfectly for first timers in the Big Apple as well as for more experienced tourists in NY. We felt at home in this really spacious appartement and especially enjoyed the open kitchen and dining room, the bedrooms and bathrooms. It is the perfect place to relax after museum, shopping, to have a break before getting out again for the evening... The neighboroughood offers everything needed to jump into the daily life of New Yorkers. And, Lucia, the owner, is allways ready to help her guests.
En résumé, pour les lecteurs francophones : un appart vraiment spacieux (2e étage sur 3), très bien situé, très bon quartier, confortable (chambres et salles de bain très bien). Et une hôtesse accueillante et serviable.

The apartment is very spacious with a very well-equipped kitchen with even a laundry room with washer-dryer. Two large baths and two large bedrooms. very close to Empire State Building ... lots of restaurants around and walking distance to lovely Gramercy Park and Union Square. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and found everything to be clean and in good condition. Best feature is how spacious the flat is. Staying here makes you feel like a true New Yorker and not a tourist!

Nice appartment, perfect location, good for kids.

We spent 7 nights here in October 2009. This is a very nice appartment right in the middle of Manhattan. It has 2 big bath rooms and 4 big rooms: 1 bedroom with 2 double beds, 1 bed room with a king size bed (you can see the Empire State Building from here) , a living room with a sofa and a nice fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a large table. Enough room and sleeping space for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. The appartment also has a terrace. The location is perfect as well at 30th street @ Lexington Ave. Empire State Building and the next subway station is just 2 blocks away. There is a also a nice breakfast diner and grocery store just around the corner. Internet access worked fine.
Lucia was always friendly and professional and was always on standby to help but we had no issues at all. I really can recommend this appartment and Lucia's business.
