Diana and Mike are FANTASTIC hosts!!!! And La Paloma is entirely the perfect package!!!!
We were going to stay at the house for our wedding weekend and have the rehearsal dinner there, but the house was SO beautiful, the landscaping, brand new creek and the pavilion were SO INCREDIBLE, we decided to have the entire wedding weekend here!!
Most of our wedding party stayed in the house and were able to relax and enjoy themselves before and after the wedding. As the bride and groom, we were MORE than impressed with not only the GORGEOUS landscaping and view, but the hard work and creativity Diana and Mike had in helping us put this entire event together!! Every detail was perfect. Aside from a little rain on Friday, (thank goodness for the spacious house and pool house!) our entire wedding weekend was perfect!! We can't say enough THANK YOU's to Diana & Mike for their wonderful hospitality and AMAZING venue!!! Our wedding was VERY special and THANK YOU VERY MUCH for being such a huge part of our day!!!!

To anyone looking at this venue... If you need to find a beautiful venue for a reunion, wedding, holiday party, or just a beautiful place to 'get away' for the week or weekend... La Paloma is the place!!!!!

This home will be the ideal place for family gatherings. The web-site does not due it justice, you must see the detail inside, every room is so well decorated, there is more than enough space and something for everyone, pool, hot tub, pool table, flat screen TVs, gourmet kitchen, private baths, fantastic landscaping and the owners Diana & Mike were so accomodating. The rental price is much more affortable that staying at a hotel/motel. Everything you needed was stocked in the kitchen, pots, pans, utinsels, etc. We didn't have to go out to any of the nearby resturants. It is an easy drive to all the major attractions in Austin. Our family is already making plans for future stays.

My friends and I have an annual guys getaway to Austin. This year, we decided to rent a house. I spent several days researching options in the Austin area. This was the best price and after we stayed there, I realized it is the best house, too. 12 guys hung out during the day. PLENTY OF ROOM for everyone, and PLENTY OF ROOM for the 8 of us that decided to sleep overnight (there were 6 beds, and we had two aerobeds). Also, there was so much to do. Pool table, swimming pool, two media rooms, many more tvs, EXCELLENT VIEWS of the hill country in all directions. Great sunsets viewed while sitting on the two second story balconies. No neighbors, so one could be as loud as one wanted and no one would be disturbed. Beautiful area of Austin. Plenty of places to eat near by (fast food and restaurant). The interior decor of the house is amazing! Like a million dollar+ model home. Skip trowel/faux finish on most walls and recessed ceilings. High end fixtures/lighitng throughout. Beautful bathrooms (master bedroom/bath has the best shower I have ever seen...4 sprays and 2 heads). During hot summer days, this house has the a/c power to keep you cool. The a/c system can run very comfortably to get as cold as you need it to be. There were plenty of required kitchen items, towels and other staples provided. There is alot of land/open areas for kids to run around to pay. Very large driveway for other games, too (wish we had a basketball hoop). I cannot think of anything that would make this house or our weekend any better. One final note, the owners were extremely kind, welcoming and informative. They met us there and gave us a tour and answered any questions. If you decide to stay in their home, you will feel like a member of the family coming for a visit. Thank you, Diana, for everything. We will certainly be back next year, and hopefully before then.
