If you want to get away from it all, this waterfront home is what you are looking for but still only 20-60 minutes to shopping, historical sites, quaint villages, forts, and beaches. This area is truly a boater's paradise with many rivers and islands to explore with a secure deep-water private dock and mooring, or just enjoy the water from the large deck with southern exposure, private deck from first floor master bedroom suite, beach access, fully equipped kitchen for preparing those gourmet meals, or the gas grill for barbecues. Also include 2 gas fireplaces for atmosphere or outdoor fire pit for relaxing with a cocktail and/or smores.

Westport Island is a great location to get away from it all but only 20-60 minutes away from historical downtown Bath, the City of Ships, Brunswick Naval Air Station, Boothbay Harbor where you can go whale watching, deep sea fishing, great restaurants, sightseeing cruises, etc. Many forts and beaches in the area, Fort Popham/Popham Beach, Fort Pemaquid/Pemaquid Beach, Fort Edgecomb, and Reid State Park. If you like antiquing, this mid-coast area has 100+ shops in all the quaint villages within an hour drive.

Location: This beautiful retreat is located just 75 feet from deep water frontage with a private dock, mooring and beach access. The island does have a boat landing or you can just sail or power your boat over to a secure dock or mooring to explore the many sites surrounding Westport Island such as the Boothbay Harbor region, Five Islands, Fort Popham or the other many surrounding islands and attractions. Great restaurants are a short boat ride away. No boat no problem enjoy watching the lobster-man at work, sailboats, seal watching or just relax and read a good book on the large deck. Located on a private road for walks or bicycling or take advantage of several walking trails located on the island. Enjoy beautiful sunrises from any room in the house and if you are here during the full moon you can enjoy the spectacular moonrise. In the evening open up the dining room to the screened-in deck or just sit and enjoy a glass of wine or nightcap.

Amenities: Enjoy the modern kitchen for creating gourmet meals or the gas grill for that great barbecue. Arrange for fresh lobster for a lobster-bake. All the comforts of home including dishwasher, washer/dryer, separate ice maker in the sun room/wet bar area with blender for all those frozen drinks and wine cooler.
