This comfortable family year round home is located on the quietside of Mount Desert Island. Ideal for the family looking to relax and enjoy the many opportunities the Island has to offer. You are a 20 minute ride to Bar Harbor for shopping, whale watching and sight seeing. Minutes to the beach for swimming, picnics and enjoying incredible sunsets. A short drive to the village of Bernard to the local wharf to watch the lobsterman bring in their daily catch and have a bite to eat at the famous 'Thurstons Wharf'. Nestled among the trees enjoy the private deck overlooking the back yard for a family feast of lobster or just burgers on the grill. We love the whole family so please bring the pets. A vacation is not complete if you have to leave someone behind.
