Located in one of New York City's most vibrant neighborhoods, this newly renovated charming apartment is airy and light-filled with windows in every room, two private sleeping areas, and a furnished kitchen with a seating area. Arrive from the airport to a newly cleaned apartment, fresh towels and bed linen, and greeted by us to answer any questions you may have. After a full day of seeing the sights you can then stay in and relax, watch a DVD, and cook in this comfortable apartment. There is also access to a washer and dryer.

The apartment is situated near major subway lines that can take you around any part of the city for sightseeing; Brooklyn Bridge is a short train ride away. This neighborhood has a great nightlife along with a variety of ethnic restaurants and stores. Only a few blocks away is historic Union Square Park, a favorite public gathering place during the Spring and Summer months and home to a great Farmers Market. This neighborhood maintains its sense of human scale with only a few large buildings scattered among mostly smaller row houses and residential buildings. If you love to walk you will enjoy this area. Within walking distance is SoHo, NoHo, Washington Square Park, the Lower East Side, and Little Italy. Visit the small boutique stores that abound in this area, walk up and down Broadway, or walk up Fifth Avenue to Midtown and take your pick of any major retailer. Stay in this neighborhood and you are staying in real New York, not the Disneyland of Times Square.

What a fabulous place!

Great place! The beds are very comfortable, the space well laid out and the location perfect. It is super easy to get anywhere you want to go either uptown or downtown. Tons of excellent restaurants are within close walking distance. My 3 sisters and I stayed here for my 55th birthday celebration and had a fabulous time. This place beats a hotel hands down. I am making this my home from now on when I am in New York!

A great place to stay

If you are planning a trip to New York and do not like a hotel's anonymity, renting an apartement is your solution.
We found this one among plenty of others and chose it because it was reasonably priced and in a top location. When we arrived Robert, the friendly manager greeted us and showed us the place.
It was very neat and clean and had a lot of New York charme. We spent 5 wonderful days in New York and 4 recovering nights that even the Night Club across the street couldn't disturb. Highly recommendable!
Owner's Response: The Night Club referred to is "Webster Hall", said to be the oldest nightclub in New York City. Although the nightclub itself is not loud (you can't hear the music playing from inside), the street noise from the club and from the bars and pool hall on 11th St. (Hey! It's the East Village in New York City!) can be heard from the front room. Ear plugs solve the problem for someone who is a light sleeper.

Great Apartment in the East Village

My husband, daughter and I immensely enjoyed our stay in this clean apartment. The apartment's location is great--near many wonderful restaurants, Union Square and close to the subway stations. Robert met us on arrival and gave great recommendations as to where to eat in the area, how to get around, etc. We would definitely stay here again when we visit NYC.

The perfect oasis

My sisters & I came to NYC for our "girls" weekend. What a blast! We were so close to anything and everything, Robert gave us an informative orientation, and we could either walk, taxi or subway anywhere. He met us at the apartment and was always a phone call away. At the end of the day, the condo was such a great home. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms relatively quiet, the condo was very clean and well maintained. Sitting on the fire escape watching people come and go is such a NY thing. We also enjoyed the Webster across the street--full of energy and you gotta dance! Food choices in the area were amazingly good, we were happy with every restaurant or diner we went to. Between the accommodations, the service and the location, this is the place to stay in the city!

Excellent landing pad

i can't say enough great things about my stay here. the location is perfectly located to many of my favorite activities in NYC including delicious food out, great markets, bars, thrift shops, subway stops etc. if you want a convenient place to land and feel like you live in the heart of a vibrant part of the city, this is the place. And the property manager is wonderful!
Owner's Response: Many thanks for this review. The location is one of the best aspects of the property. Plenty to do in the neighborhood, but easy to hop on a subway train and get to different parts of the city.
