Lakefront home in Cross Village

We are repeat customers of Homeaway and we've found that you do an inadequate job of screening vacation homes for price, value and description. Though this home had a spectacular view of the lake on the beach, we were not satisfied with the value of home compared to the price we paid. We've rented similar houses at half the price and were more than happy with the facilities so we'll no longer rent the more expensive homes. The basic description of the home was satisfying and we really enjoyed our vacation due to the location and the views, but we were more than disappointed with the following:
Stairway to the beach was dilapidated and unsafe.
The sand beach was covered with large rocks.
The spiral staircase to the second floor was loose and jittery.
The second story windows and and doorway screens fit inadequately and allowed bugs in at night.
The second bathroom had a broken toilet seat and unfinished floor.
The kitchen pots and pans were dirty and worn out.
The was food left in the refrigerator and pantry.
The spice rack contained expired spices in greasy containers.
