Beautiful and spacious three bedroom home located approximately 6 miles from Lynden Pindling International Airport. 10 to 15 minutes drive to downtown Nassau and five minutes drive to Cable Beach. About your vacation home: This property is located in a private residential area which is approximately 20 minutes from Lynden Pindling International Airport. The neighborhood is very safe and is home to many expatriates working in New Providence. The property is well landscaped and maintained. Furnishings are well kept and most of the kitchen appliances are essentially new. Storm shutters are in place for protection against hurricanes and tropical storms. This property is in walking distance to Cable Beach and the bus route. There are two beautiful beaches nearby about 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Guests are provided with one cell phone which you may purchase minutes for to use during your stay in Nassau. In addition to FREE local calls, we are pleased to provide FREE long distance calls to the United States, Canada and certain parts of Europe.

Nearby Activities: Whether walking or driving, this property is within minutes from Cable Beach, where you will find a 18 hole golf course, banks, hotels and resorts, two beautiful beaches with water sports activities, a playground, straw market and restaurants. There are two major grocery stores within minutes drive from the property. There is also a small shopping complex nearby where you will find a cinema, dry cleaning, a pharmacy, a convenience store, an ice-cream parlor and a bank. It is easy to catch a No. 10 Jitney Bus to get into downtown Nassau where there is another straw market, shopping, restaurants and other activities. You can also catch a ferry boat from downtown Nassau to Paradise Island or jump on a horse-driven surrey and enjoy a guided tour around the city. A rental car is recommended but is not absolutely necessary.

We had a great time at the Seagrape Manor. There were six of us in the house, four adults and two children and we had a lot of room. It was very spacious and comfortable, felt like home.
Everything you need is right there in the home. It was better than a hotel plus the location was great. The other two reviews nailed it. All I can say is you won't be disappointed at the Seagrape manor and I am a very picky person when it comes to staying at hotels or rental homes..

Sharlene and Sherry are awesome. Hopefully we can go back soon and hangout with the locals again. Everyone in the Bahamas are the nicest people ever. Thanks Sharlene and Sherry for everything! We really appreciate everything you did for us.
Owner's Response: Tina and her family were truly very "down to earth" people who took time to go into the "over the hill" areas in Nassau and meet/ hang out with the locals. We have very fond memories of their stay.....memories that will last for a very long time!!! Thank you for staying at Seagrape Manor and being such wonderful guests. AMAZING PLACE!! WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!

I just got back from my vacation on August 2 2009 for one week in Nassau Bahamas. 7 of us stayed at Sharlenes place and we do not have enough praise for her and her home. It was more then we expected and had the time of our lifes. The house is located in a private and safe area and is a beautiful home with all the luxury's. The pool is amazing and the beach is located just a 3 min drive away. We got to know Sharlene and her family well and we can not complain one bit. We have made new friends and will for sure be coming back soon. I would recommned this home to anyone staying in the Bahamas, your guarenteed to love it.

Much More Than Meets the Eye

Wow! What a place to call home for a few days (or weeks). We studied the pictures prior to our arrival and thought we knew what to expect but were pleasantly surprised at all the extras you don't see online. For example, the home is very spacious, the kitchen is very well stocked (just add food), and the hostess is the epitome of hospitality. From the telephone services to the abundance of towels and dishes, there is very little (if anything) that has not been thought of and provided for. Our stay at Seagrape Manor was truly a pleasure.
