This newly built, authentically decorated villa, boarding the jungle and the town of Tulum is just minutes from some of the best beaches in Mexico and is a great choice for singles, couples, and families. Tulum- just 90 minutes from the Cancun airport and 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen- is great place to vacation- full of many activities for those that want to stay busy or a great place to do nothing but read a book on one of the prettiest beaches ever. Our villa is within a safe and gated community featuring private parking, a large pool, Jacuzzi and a huge palapa great for any large gatherings. Rich vegetation and gardens sprawl throughout the complex, maintaining the natural beauty of Mexico.

The house is a five minute walk from the center of town where one will find restaurants of all types, shopping, and night life, all boasting the laid back Mexican culture which is especially established in Tulum. An easy five minute drive will take you to the extensive stretches of unspoiled beaches. There are miles of secluded, white sand, turquoise water beaches that are almost uninhabited, evoking all the elements of relaxation and escape. For those looking for a bit more action, there is the Playa Paraiso Beach Club which offers beds for sunbathing, a bar, and a larger crowd. On the road running parallel to the beach there are many restaurants and cafes serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and some of the best entertainment in Tulum.

This strikingly beautiful and unique 2 bedroom 2 bath house has achieved a vibrant and unpretentiously authentic yet luxuriously chic look. Bright accents of color are scattered throughout the house to embody the vibrant Mexican culture while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. These bright colors compliment the custom dark wood cabinetry and furniture made from Salam, the rich wood, indigenous to the area. All of the furnishings and fixtures are beautifully crafted and locally made. The 2 bedrooms include one king and two twins (which can be made into another king size bed).

The outdoor palapa (patio) is a great place to entertain or relax while watching the sun rise with a fresh fruit smoothie or set with a margarita. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a gourmet meal and great drinks. Buy a fresh lobster or fish from a fisherman on the beach or local fish market. Turn on the grill, chill the cerveza, blend the margaritas or try a chillada, one of our favorites…let the party begin.

What a great place! The villa was adorable, clean and tastefully furnished, it had everything we needed! I only regret buying orange juice (it was terrible) next time I will buy fresh oranges and use the orange juicer at the villa. There was satelitte tv and radio so we could see what was going on in the world. We spent most of our time on the patio, enjoying margaritas, the hammocks and the pool.
We were 3 women and felt very safe, it is a gated and secure area. You can only access it through a locked front gate which you can walk through or pull your car into.
The town of Tulum is a little Mexican town with a main strip that has wonderful authentic restaurants and shops (they are cheaper then the shops in some of the larger towns.) Very few people even know about Tulum which is wonderful because you fell like you are in Mexico and not some tourist trap.
My favorite part of Tulum is the beach...it is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The sand looked like snow and water water was warm and clean. The beach was not over crowded and we found a spot where the waiters will serve you cocktails and lunch right on the beach! They actually carry down tables and set everything up right in front of you. That's my special place!
