Located in a quiet courtyard with the charm of Old Italy, our two-bedroom condo is the perfect place for a fun-filled vacation or a business trip. A delightful alternative to hotels for your Boston stay, our fully-furnished North End second floor walk-up condo has Old World Charm but with all the modern features including a large, newly-renovated fully tiled bath. The kitchen is furnished with everything you will need to prepare a meal, including microwave, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker. In the living room, a comfortable futon awaits. There, you will also find a wall-mounted 32-inch flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Cable TV, wireless Internet, and a telephone with unlimited long distance calls to the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico keep you in touch with the world. The unit is very clean and well-maintained. An iron, ironing board, alarm clock radio, and hair dryer are provided. For your convenience a washer & dryer are in the condo building.

Located a block off the Freedom Trail and around the corner from the North Church, our condo is the perfect spot if you want to be in the center of the action, but on a quiet, safe, short street. Walk the cobblestone streets like Paul Revere and America's ancestors, or take a trek on the new Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway which connects to many sights including shopping new (Banana Republic, Crate and Barrel, Gap, Ann Taylor, Macy's) and old, including vintage old world shops. Also nearby are Copp's Hill Burying Ground, Paul Revere's House, and the Bunker Hill monument. The T, Boston's public transportation system, nearby and easy to use, will take you quickly to outlying areas, including Harvard and Cambridge. We are within easy walking distance of most Boston attractions and are a block away from Boston Harbor with its many restaurants featuring chowder and local fish dishes.

Boston's North End is a diner's mecca, with more than 100 restaurants and bakeries only a short distance from our condo. Whether you desire authentic Italian or more contemporary dining, you can find it all in the North End. We are an easy commute to Boston's Logan International Airport as well as to Amtrak stations. It is just a ten-minute cab ride from the Airport and a ten-minute ride to the Amtrak Trains to New York. The 'T' goes to both. You do NOT need a car to get around the city if you are staying in the North End.

location, location, location!

did i mention it was a great location? sandwiched between hanover and salem; surrounded by endless italian charm. (and food!) 5 min. walk to boston gardens, weekend produce market, the T(subway), and hanover is part of the wonderful freedom trail. the location was so good that the biggest disappointment was the 7-day T passes that went unused for most of our trip! and you must go visit the wonderful boys in the Wild Duck wine store on salem, eat raw at Grezzo around the corner, or pig-out on pastries at Mike's Pastries(if there isn't a line way out the door...get in before there is:) .the only reason i didn't give a 5 rating is that the coffee maker didn't work(but honestly, how would they know that until someone told them?), and that we really could have used 2 keys, which i'm sure would be available on request. i WILL return to boston one day and i WILL book here for my return visit. *note-i am not a 5star hotel kinda girl, so this was perfect for me-more submerged in the community i guess, so if you're looking for 5star...find a hotel:)*
Owner's Response: The coffee pot was barely two months old when it quit; I've never had that one happen before! We replaced it the next day. If our renters need more than one key, they can tell us before we mail them out and we will happily oblige.

Excellent location

We love the North End and had always hoped to stay there. This condo is located in a very quiet courtyard off the beaten path but steps from Hanover or Salem Street. Around the corner on Salem is the Old North Church and up from that is Copps Hill Burying Ground. Around the corner on Hanover are wonderful restaurants, lots of neighborhood people going about their business--it was fun to hear Italian spoken so frequently. For history buffs, foodies, people-watchers this is just a terrific neighborhood. The condo was as described and perfect for our family of two adults and two young adults. The well-equipped kitchen certainly gave it an advantage over a hotel room and the price was equivalent to area hotels if not lower. The condo is within very easy walking distance of the Aquarium, Quincy Market, parking garages and the public transportation system. Carlos was easy to work with and returned our security deposit in a timely fashion. We've rented condos and homes all over the country and this experience was one of the easiest and most rewarding. We recommend this condo highly for a wonderful week or weekend in Boston.

The apartment is all it shows to be as far as location and living area. It was very clean and the owners provide information helpful for the visiting tourist. We had two men with knee problems,but took the stairs slowly. We used taxi, train, tour boat, trolley, and still were able to walk to historic sites and bakeries. Yum!

I have to say that this has been one of my best places to stay and I tend to travel alot. It was clean, spacious and it had A/C which had to be the best . It got hot and humid the last few days of our stay so those A/C were a life saver.

Great Location in the North End

Our family had a great stay in this very well maintained, clean and extremely convenient condo. The location can't be beat as we walked to everything. We have two young kids (7 months and 2.5 years) and there seemed to be a park just about every two or three blocks on our way to every location. We easily walked to the Aquarium, Children's Museum, Public Gardens, Boston Commons, Quincy Market and most of the Freedom Trail over our stay and our kids loved stopping at all the playgrounds and water spots along the way. There seems to be endless dining options in the area with famous Mike's Pastry dangerously just around the corner. With the proximity to so many things the condo was still very quiet as it is in a heavy residential area with a small and private courtyard just out the front door. We would definitely look at coming back to this condo on future trips to Boston.
