Introduction to Villa Tortuga:
Villa Tortuga has been a family rental for five years now and we have worked out many of the kinks of starting a new business in a foreign country. We have been upgrading the facility constantly and have a wonderful staff to help with all questions and activities. We are very open to suggestion, which has led to some wonderful guests that return year after year (some much more frequently). We form a bond with our clientele that I believe is unmatched in the region. We have just finished building surfboard storage for our guests, both inside and outside the units. We have seen large and small groups alike and welcome them all. We have hosted Wedding Parties, Reunions, and Corporate Getaways which are a blast. The most common renter would be a mellow family of surfers or fishermen that have heard about the quality of the respective sports in the area. As the owner, I live on-site to help assist with anything that comes up. I hope you enjoy your stay and come back to visit...

I can't say enough good things about Villa Tortuga and Playa Guiones in Costa Rica. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and were treated like locals with warm and welcoming hospitality. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities needed, plus were super close to great surf and within walking distance to all the happenings. Unreal memories. Highly recommended!

We have been staying here since they opened. They have everything you need- clean rooms, full kitchens, pool- and they are close (walking distance) to everything you need- SURF, grocery store, restaurants, internet and phone. The owner lives on site and is always there to help . We go to Costa Rica several times a year and we would never stay anywhere else. It's like home to us.
