Port Renfrew is a unique destination. Only a short 90-minute drive from Victoria (Southern Vancouver Island), this sleepy fishing and logging village is fast becoming a hub for outdoor enthusiasts. Port Renfrew has it all. For hikers and backpackers its the start of the West Coast Trail and the end of the Juan De Fuca Trail. For paddlers its a head water to the San Juan river. For nature lovers, its has Spring whale watching and excellent year round bird watching. Trophy halibut and salmon are netted in local waters. The cottage is ideal for a romantic gateway or a family vacation for those who enjoy 'nature at her best'. This tranquil oceanfront cottage is perched at the top of a small hill overlooking both the San Juan river and the San Juan Bay. Across the river is undeveloped Mile Beach which is part of the Pacheedaht Indian Reservation.

Mile Beach Cottage is a cozy 1000 square foot home. This one level home has three bedrooms, one full bath and kitchen, family room, wood stove, fireplace screened porch and large deck at waters edge. The kitchen is fully equipped and washer and dryer are included. TV with cable and movie channels are available. Port Renfrew should be on your 'bucket list.'
