Exquisite Accomodation & Service on a Budget

From the time I contacted the Aruba Pearl from this website, I encountered AMAZING service. Dmitry (owner and operator of the Pearl) provided detailed information about the accomodation and left nothing unanswered. He also provided an informative list of services (excursions, grocery stores, shopping, beaches, car rentals) that were available in Aruba. This was our first time on the island, but thanks to Dmitry, I felt like I had already been there!
We rented a car (the Pearl has a secure parking lot, so you don't have to worry about your car being stolen) and drove to the Pearl easily following the directions provided. I feel the Pearl has a prime location. It is set back 2 blocks from the main road providing a more relaxed atmosphere and is a very short walk to beautiful Eagle Beach. If you're looking for less crowds and relaxation, this is the place to be. On the other hand, if you're looking for more hustle and bustle, Palm Beach and its attractions are just a short 3 minute car or bus trip. The accomodations are exactly like the pictures on the website. IT IS DEFINITELY A LUXURY ACCOMODATION WITHOUT THE LUXURY PRICE TAG. Location, layout of the condo, ammenities, decor, were all exactly as described.
We were warmly welcomed by Dmitry and his family and they quickly got us set up in our condo. They allowed us some "down time" after a very long day of travelling and told us we could take care of our paper work later. They also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine since we were celebrating our anniversary. What a wonderful surprise!
During our 10 day stay I was never disappointed. Dmitry and his family provided exceptional, personalized service that you would not find at a hotel or any other vacation rental. If we needed something, it was taken care of immediately.
The condo was well maintained and very clean. The kitchen appliances were adequate and allowed us to cook, saving us a lot of $ from having to dine out every meal. The in-condo washer, dryer and ironing board came in handy. WIFI internet service was available in our condo, which if you read many general Aruba reviews, is hard to find on the island. The WIFI helped us make and confirm reservations without using costly cell phone calls.
Overall, you're not going to find a better place than the Pearl. I would highly recommend it to anyone, as we hope to return again.
