Roomy (840 sq ft) 18th Floor condo with large covered balcony offering spectacular city and mountain views. Modern decor designed for comfort, with deep, luxurious wall colors, large, plush sectional in living room, antique dining room table, piano and wood floors. Ensuite master bath has custom marble shower, marble countertops, bronze fixtures, and tile floor. Full second bathroom (located off second bedroom) has marble countertop, raised sink. modern chrome fixtures, back-lit mirror. Walk to the False Creek ferry for a 5 minute ride to Granville Island for fresh caught fish, local produce, tantalizing bakeries, world-class restaurants and local artisan galleries. Yaletown's trendy shops and restaurants are within blocks, as is a 9 screen movie theater with comfy reclining seats, several specialty wine stores and a grocery store. The famous False Creek/Stanley Park seawall is 4 blocks away for spectacular sunset walks, jogging, cycling and in-line skating.

We found this apartment on the net booking was no problem. Our flight was delayed at Heathrow but a quick call to Melanie solved that and we were met by her charming daughter who gave us a quick tour of the apartment. Well were we impressed a well furnished apartment with everything you could wish for. Only one minor criticism maybe change the kettle to an automatic one but other wise it was fine. Well situated for all parts of Vancouver and sightseeing was easy.

Granville Island was 10 minutes away by walk and water taxi well worth a look try the fresh halibut in the market and the turkey sausage rolls. Hopefully we will return next year but again many thanks to Bill and Melanie for all their help in making our trip such an enjoyable one
