This fine resort is in a gated community called Burnt Store Marina. You can walk, bike or toodle around in golf carts in the pedestrian/bike friendly community. There are two yacht basins, with this property on one of them. This marina is the gateway to the gulf and the islands of Sanibel, Captiva and Useppa. You can charter a boat for personal sailing or go aboard the charter boat to islands where you can hike, camp, go shelling or eat at great funky and fun restaurants such as Cabbage Key. Pine Island is a short drive from your condominium with numerous waterfront, seafood restaurants. For day trips, you can visit Sarasota (great art museums, shopping, Ringling Brothers, etc.) and further to the north Tampa, the home of Busch Gardens. It's only a two and one-half hour drive over Alligator Alley (Hwy.75)to Ft. Lauderdale or northeast to Orlando.

Boat Chartering and Boat Slips Available: You can charter your own boat right here at the marina or take a group boat to nearby islands. More opportunities in Punta Gorda, as well! Just go to Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda. You may be able to reserve a boat slip right outside your door for your own boat. Some of our guests bring there own boat & store it in nearby storage area and then can rent a slip probably right outside your door! How cool is that!!??

Deep sea and local fishing Available: Fish right off the seawalls! Or go out on a day charter for deep sea fishing. Great local fishing in Charlotte Harbor. This is one of the best fishing areas in the country. Tarpon is KING!! There is grouper, Kingfish, etc., etc.

Golf: Burnt Store Marina boasts about it's own 18 hole golf course. Just call ahead for a tee time. More golfing nearby at St. Andrews Golf course in Punta Gorda and many, many courses all the way south throughout 'Ft. Myers and all the way to Naples for the most luxurious courses.
