The beaches are clean and safe with all amenities, beach-side restaurants and cafes, water-sports etc. Night life is rich and colorful with elegant clubs, discos, taverns and out-doors cafes. The capital of Cyprus, Nicosia is approximately 50-60 minutes by car. You can enjoy an elaborate museum with ancient antiquities expressing the Cypriot civilization. Make sure that you spent time in the old town with the narrow picturesque streets and the surrounding shops offering everything from souvenirs to brand name clothing. Driving in Cyprus is easy, convenient and safe. The island offers one of the most complete, comfortable and safe roadways and highways in Europe.
