Only sleeps 4!!!

We booked for 5 (youngest 15) which I specified in several emails. When we arrived there was only beds for 4 and the owner said that it was a 'mistake' that the place advertises that it sleeps 6. Anyway, a small mattress was put on the lounge room floor and although it was not what we expected, it was OK for us. The kitchen is tiny, again that was OK for us. The bathroom is actually an ensuite off the main bedroom so anyone who needs to use the bathroom must walk through the main bedroom.
The location of the flat is brilliant although there are a few flights of very old stairs to negotiate!

We have stayed in this apartment May 2008, it is a wonderful place, everything is just perfect: the location is amazing (just 5 min to Notre Dam by walk), perfect apartment for 4 adults, very quite thanks to inside patio. Perfect people!

Mitten in der Stadt und ruhig

Wie in der Beschreibung angesprochen, stammt das Haus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert - es wirkt dementsprechend etwas abgewohnt - wacklige, ausgetretene Treppenstufen, Farbe blättert von den Wänden, etwas dunkel, da Blick auf den Innenhof - aber dafür ist es nachts auch ruhig - lediglich die Bodendielen knarren beim Gang zum Bad vor allem nachts sehr laut,
Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, vier Gänge - Menues wird man hier nicht kochen können, aber die Grundbedürfnisse können befriedigt werden.
Dafür befindet man sich, wenn man das Haus verläßt, mitten im Zentrum von Paris in einer schönen, lebhaften Strasse mit vielen kleinen, interessanten Läden.
Restaurants sind in grosser Zahl in unmittelbarer Nähe, direkt nebenan eine Bäckerei, gegenüber ein Lebensmittelladen, der auch abends lange geöffnet hat.
Die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen - auf der zweiten Seine - Insel neben Notre Dame, im historischen Herzen der Stadt.
Nächste Metrostation ist Pont Marie, ca. 200m entfernt, Cité und St. Michel sind auch nicht weit entfernt.
Romantische abendliche Spaziergänge in dieser Umgebung werden eine besondere Erinnerung darstellen.
Die Vermieter wohnen im Haus, so ist ein leichter Kontakt möglich, die Wohnung ist sauber und der Preis, vor allem wenn man für vier Personen bucht, gut.
Fazit: eine optimale Ausgangsbasis, um die Stadt von einer ihrer schönsten Stellen aus kennenzulernen.

Nette, schöne Wohnung im Herzen von Paris. Notre Dame ist nur 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Wir empfehlen es jederzeit weiter.
