Referred to as the mahogany cottage, designed like a boat's interior with exposed mahogany beams and extraordinary detail. Two fireplaces, living room, kitchen, one bedroom and two bathrooms. The deck and house look out on several miles of river views with small islands - wonderful for kayaking. 8 miles south of the market town of Damariscotta. This idyllic cottage and 45 acres has a heart and soul like no other. My guarantee: You will feel like you have 'arrived'.

Adventure, summer, July - elusive! Damariscotta Maine - finally!!
July 25 - stunning arrival, internet pictures - "no justice there"!!!
Charm, grace, current rippling, light - filter leaves, clouds, yield warmth enfolded in Honduras Mahogany. Aha, a cove of generosity, hospitality, kindness.
Villagers, welcome hearts - sisters like - suite - shops, confection, cuisine, vistas - extraordinaire!
Departure August 8 - fortnight's finale! Impressions of gold 14k, 18k, platinum - imprints!!!
2 gals, one poodle - farewell whisper to pines - wind-swept gratitude blown in great house upstairs window - great health, sleep well!

Magnificent Mahogany Cottage

After careful consideration, we've decided to move in. That's right - we can't leave. While it is true that our friends and family may miss us, think of how delighted they will be to find out they can visit us here at your magnificent mahogany cottage. We'll be sending letters of resignation to our employers so I'll need some stationary. (will stop by in the am to get some)
