Private Home, Italian Rivera: La Casa dei Nonni is a spacious, charming house on a quiet street in Forte dei Marmi. It consists of the 'house' on the ground floor, and the 'apartment' with its own entrance on the second floor. The house has a kitchen, bathroom, living room with a pull-out double bed, dinning room, two bedrooms, and a veranda. The 430 square foot apartment and has a kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room, and bedroom. From the apartment you'll enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains. Casa dei Nonni has a wonderful garden, perfect for lounging under the olive tress or for your kids to run around and play. You’ll feel like you are in the middle of the countryside, when you are truly just a stone’s throw from all the conveniences of the little village. There are two outdoor tables for dining, one just outside the main kitchen and another in the garden under a wisteria canopy. In addition there is an outdoor kitchen which is great to use in the spring and summer months

Forte dei Marmi: Forte dei Marmi is a wonderful little resort town. From its elegant boutiques to its art galleries to its gelaterie, it appeals to everyone. Great for window-shopping and people-watching, this town can’t be beat for its passeggiata (evening stroll). During the summer months there are plenty of events going on from open-air theater to local festivals. The beaches offer every level of service and accommodation, from the simple to the deluxe. All are very well equipped and you have the choice of renting Cabanas, Umbrellas, beach chairs, and even changing cabin. You’ll enjoy renting bicycles and the short ride to the beach.

Other activities: Casa dei Nonni is an ideal spot from where to take daily sight-seeing trips. Great day trips include the Cinque Terre, Lucca, and Pisa. The mountains offer beautiful walks with spectacular views of the coast. The house caretakers will be happy to give you suggestions for your stay. Cooking classes for that perfect Tuscan meal are also available at the house (for an additional fee).
