The Cabin is nestled on a hillside with panoramic views overlooking crystal clear, nine mile long, Schroon Lake. Enjoy your own private boat slip for summer cruising, swimming, water skiing, and fishing. Fall; hiking, canoeing, leaf peeping. Winter; direct snow mobile access to the lake and the NYS trail system, skiing at Gore 15 minutes away, cross country skiing, and ice fishing. After your busy day, come home to the privacy of your own authentic log cabin. Relax on the spacious deck overlooking six miles of the lake, or sit and enjoy a cozy evening campfire in the outdoor fireplace. Inside kick back and get comfortable in this beautiful white pine cabin. Enjoy the majestic natural stone fireplace, or take a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy a movie in the loft or a game of ping pong in the basement. ENJOY!

Additional information about rental rates

  • Open all year @ $1395 per week. 3 day minimum rentals available September 15-March 15
  • To reserve the property for the week, $600 is due upon reservation. The remaining balance of $795 plus a security deposit of $300 is due three weeks prior to your stay. For a partial week stay, $350 is due upon reservation and the balance plus the $300 security is due three weeks prior to your stay. All security deposits are refunded within two weeks after departure provided the Log Cabin and premises are left clean and undamaged.
  • $1395 per week.
    $235 per night with a three night minimum(Only available September 15-May 15)

The Schroon Lake Log Cabin exceeded our expectations. It was clean and well furnished with an atmosphere that made you feel right at home. We loved the fireplace and looking at the beautiful view of the lake off the deck. We will definitely be back again!

Perfect place to spend a week or two (or more)

My wife and I spent two weeks at this wonderful home in August 2009. The home itself was super clean and thoughtfully furnished and laid out. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and Tim & Rebecca (the proprietors) were very responsive and committed to a high-quality property. We have spend time staying the Adirondacks before (Lake Placid, Saranac Village, Lake George) and we really like the Schroon Lake location. Much less touristy than Lake George or Lake Placid and the perfect place to relax and close to great hiking in the High Peaks region. Can't wait to go back!

A Home Better than Home!

The Schroon Lake Cabin was the perfect place for our vacation. We wanted a great place away from people, but not too far and we got it just right at Schroon Lake Cabin. Schroon Lake village, just up the road, met our shopping needs, including groceries and video rental. We chose a nice place to stay so we could enjoy family time together onsite and we did spend most of our week enjoying the cabin amenities: ping pong, cable TV, gas grill, camp fire, air conditioning and the view. We docked our canoe at the boat slip and got some canoeing and fishing in too. We did not have enough time to swim, but the Village beach looked nice. Maybe next time! Thanks for helping to make our vacation great.

Perfect Place

My family and I had the pleasure of spending a week in this beautiful cabin in June/July 2009. I was impressed by the attention to detail by the owners to have the place in perfect condition when we arrived. The view from the deck to the lake was fantastic!!!. It was a great launching place to get to many attractions that included Lake Placid ( 1 Hour). We were able to get a boat for a day with ease at the marina just a few miles down the road. Fishing was great off the dock that goes with the cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything you need. Thanks to Tim and Rebecca for being such great hosts and we look forward to coming back again next year.
