We loved this condo--everything is fresh and clean and new and just as the pictures depicted. The location can't be beat--you can walk to restaurants--the Egg and I is just across the street and is great for breakfast. We loved hearing the rushing water in the back of the condo. Being able to walk the river walk was a real plus as well. The condo is above some shops and parking is in the lot out front. We didn't have any problem with finding a spot to park. The owners also had a parking pass for across the street if we couldn't find a space when we returned. Elk can frequently be found at the golf course which is very nearby. You won't be disappointed if you rent this condo.

This was the perfect condo for us to enjoy our son's wedding which took place at the Stanley. We had the rehearsal dinner here and the spacious areas inside and the balcony on the creek made this "flow" very nicely as well as guests enjoying the downstairs area along the creek. The pie shop next door "You Need Pie" delivered the best pies and bread just out of the oven and "Kind" coffee on the corner supplied us with a "box" of great coffee. The air conditioning was a real plus here. Guests were asking --where did you find this place--as they plan on returning here. Another plus was being able to walk the town and lake from the condo.

Easy going in Estes

You can walk to the shops via the river walk or main street, but the best was walking toward Estes Lake and seeing new born Elk a short ways off the main path not far from the golf course. If you have other folks in the area you need to be able to link up with easily this is extremely convenient. Ed's Canteen is right next door with Mexican cuisine. Our kids waked to the theater; and a Safeway is near by. There are three bedrooms with one used as a TV room with sofa bed accommodations. The TV is out of the way so it does not dominate the day. Lots of great room space with a separate dining area to use for board games and cards. I expected parking would be challenging, but it was not so during our stay; we were able to find parking every time we returned. If you are mobility challenged there is a twenty four step walk up to the condo to consider. Me and my new knee made if fine. A very nice place to stay, open the back windows and hear the rush of the mountain river, have coffee/breakfast on the back deck.
