Jordanelle Reservoir/Shores at Stillwater Area:
This is a true “Four Season” destination beautifully situated between the towering Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges amidst a gorgeous reservoir , blue-ribbon trout streams and top rated golf courses.
In summer, enjoy water sports on three large reservoirs, golf on five different championship courses, horseback ride into the mountains, or just soak up the scenery poolside at several resorts and lodges. In fall, the mountains burst in to color inviting exploration of winding scenic drives.
Winter brings piles of dry snow to enjoy at 8(!) different ski resorts within one hour of Heber Valley. If cross-country skiing is your passion, Soldier’s Hollow was the site of the 2002 Winter Olympics Nordic competitions. In spring, wildflowers erupt in a harmony of color beckoning visitors to hike or horseback ride our many mountain trails.
Summer Activities:
Summer and Fall are beautiful in the high desert. Biking, boating, world class fly fishing sites, hiking, site seeing are but a few of the activities available all within the range of hourly or day trips. We are ideally situated to access these activities.
Ski:
There are three world class ski resorts within minutes of the town home, Deer Valley, Park City and the Canyons. You can also access another 8 ski resorts within an hour drive of the town home from Alta to Sundance. With over 500 inches of powder, Utah has some of the best skiing terrain in the world.
Golf:
In addition to the ever-popular Park City Golf Course, there are more than a half-dozen options within a 20 or 30 minute drive. These are the visiting golfer's best bets. And don't be surprised if, after sampling some of this delightful terrain, enjoying the crisp summer golf weather and the length advantages off the tee due to the higher elevation, one doesn't begin scrimping and saving for a mountain golf home of his/her own.
