Property Description: This house is located on more than 10 acres of beautiful woods complete with lots of deer. Enjoy exploring the woods, hiking, or simply the landscaped lawn for a picnic. The house overlooks the St. Louis River which is directly connected to Lake Superior (it is a short boat ride to the lake). The peacefulness of this setting will become apparent driving down the driveway before you have even arrived at the house. Minutes from town you will feel relaxed and 'away from it all' as soon as you arrive.

Duluth/Superior Attractions: There are so many things to do in the Twin Ports area. beautiful setting. 10 minutes from everything Duluth. Warm and cozy, but lots of room! Wife and I had plenty of time to relax while the kids entertained themselves on large HD Tv's, the pool, walks in the woods and the waterfront. perfect for a family of 5 and could easily have a praty of 25-30 and not be crowded. We'll be back!

Great Getaway

We stayed the week of July 4th. This property is actually located in the town of Superior, Wisconsin and is literally just a few minutes away from Canal Park in Duluth. Just jump across the bridge and you are there. The inside is redone and nice. As someone that likes to cook, it was wonderful to cook in that kitchen. You can walk down to the water or overlook it from where the pool is. It is very peaceful and the deer are almost like pets that wander about the property. Also, there is an eagle's nest just across the water to the north of the property. Even when there were no eagles in the nest, it was very cool to look at. It's about 100 yards away and you can really see how massive the nest is. There was even one on the ground close to the pool when we were there, our daughter got a pretty good picture of it on her camera. The owners were very easy to work with and met our needs. The heated pool was great, even in July it's nice to go into 85 degree water and not worry about the 49 degree stuff in Lake Superior. You have access to all of the restaurants and events in Duluth and add anything in Superior to that as well. Superior is a much bigger place than I had thought. We actually watched the fireworks show in Superior and had a front row seat. There is only one neighbor there whom we barely saw. We did meet her and she is about as nice as can be. Grill indoor or outdoor, watch eagles and deer, swim inside the pool or fish off the dock. We had lots of fun and will plan a trip back.
