From the living room and terrace there is an extensive, enchanting view of a nature reserve and the whole bay. It is located on a small site, only 5 km from the beach and various shops. Further Details: Lots of places to visit – cloisters, castles, monuments of nature and ancient towns – are all close by, and the beach is only a few minutes from the house on foot. La Clappe nature reserve is only a few minutes away on foot.

Wines from the La Clape region: St Pierre is situated in the La Clape vineyard area, between the renowned Corbières, Minervois and L’Aude wine regions. There are several vineyards nearby that sell wine direct from the vineyard. La Clape is distinguished by vineyards on chalk soil, producing a vigorous, earthy, dark-coloured red wine and a fruity, sparkling, light rosé. The prices of 5 litre bottles are very favourable. In the neighbouring town of Gruissan an exceptional Muscat is grown, which is sold wholesale by St Pierre wine-growers.

Sports facilities: Just in front of the beach there are tennis grounds, a kite-surfing and surfing school, and bicycle hire in the town. The horse riding centre is 2 km away.

Kann man wirklich emfpehlen

Super-Ferienhaus mit Traumblick, das wir nun schon das zweite Mal mieteten.
Geräumigkeit und Ausstattung (Geschirrspüler, SAT-TV, DSL, vernünftige Betten, gute Stereo-Anlage, Bücher, CDs und DVDs, Grill, Stauraum in Garage) gehen weit über den sonst üblichen "französichen Standard" hinaus.
Baden am Meer (ca. 15 Min zu Fuß bzw. 5 Min per Auto) am breiten, unendlich langen Sandstrand oder am Pool (ca. 100m).
Zahlreiche Abenteuer- und Freizeitmöglichkeiten (angeln, windsurfen, wandern, ...).

Sehr gute, problemlose Abwicklung mit den Vermietern.

Haus für große Familien mit Topausstattung

Endlich einmal ein großes geräumiges Reihenhaus, das Platz für mind.6 Personen bietet ohne daß man täglich eine Schlafcouch auf und abbauen muß. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet, die Angaben im Inserat sind alle korrekt. Ein 2.Wäscheständer wäre für Großfamilien nicht schlecht, bzw. mehr Handtuchhalterungen
in den Bädern zum trocknen bei Regen wäre gut. Der Carport lässt sich schlecht nutzen, da die Einfahrt keine Absenkung des Gehwegs hat, zu steil und zu eng ist ( Mauer des Nachbarhauses schränkt die Zufahrt ein) Gefahr des Aufsetzens bzw Aneckens)
Hervorzuheben ist die excellente Betreuung durch den Verwalter. Seine geführten Wanderungen in die Pyrrenäen sind ein absolutes Highlight.

Entspannung mit Traumaussicht

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in einem sehr gut ausgestatteten, gepflegten Haus mit traumhaft schöner Terasse, die zum Träumen eingeladen hat. Die Angaben auf der Internetseite haben alle zugetroffen. Die Hausverwaltung war sehr nett, kompetent und ständig verfügbar. Die vom Verwalter angebotenen Wanderungen in den Pyrenäen können ein Highlight für Wanderer sein. Hunde müssen in den Sommermonaten einen etwas weiteren Weg zum Hunde/FKK-Strand in Kauf nehmen.
Owner's Response: Das ist leider in Frankreich Gesetz: An den überwachten Strandabschnitten ist in der Hochsaison Hundeverbot. Aber gleich daneben dürfen die Vierbeiner sich austoben! Und Platz am Strand ist ja genug.

Zum zweiten Mal eien wunderschöner Urlaub

Das Haus ist fantastisch eingerichtet: Waschmaschine (wichtig wegen der Kinderklamotten), Geschirrspüler, Kaffeeautomat, Wasserkocher, scharfe Messer, DVD-Spieler, SAT-TV, DSL-Anschluss, Telefon. Dazu CD'S, Bücher, Spiele, DVDs - Herz, was willst du mehr? Die Betreuung vor Ort durch den deutschen Hausverwalter ist prima.
Vom Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss hat man einen noch traumhafteren Meerblick als von der eh schon genialen Terrasse! Hoffen wir, dass das so bleibt und die Bebauungspläne für die Region in der Schublade verschwinden.
Den täglichen Markt im Ort sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.
Uns hat es auch beimn 2. Mal mit unserer kleinen Tochter super gefallen. Wenn es zeitlich klappen sollte, kommen wir auch gerne ein drittes Mal.
Owner's Response: Es ist schön, dass Haus und Aussicht auch zum zweiten Mal begeistert haben. Und die Gefahr für die schöne Aussicht ist gebannt: Mit Urteil des Verwaltungsgerichts Montpellier vom 11.06.2008 wurde die Bebauung des Hangs zum Meer in der geplanten Form verboten.

Ferien in St. Pierre

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne und erholsame Wochen in diesem Haus. Mit Sicherheit einer der schönsten Urlaube der vergangenen Jahre. Grund dafür ist sicher auch das Haus mit seiner ruhigen Lage und einem fantastischen Ausblick über das Naturschutzgebiet und übers Meer. Tolle Umgebung mit unzähligen Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge jeder Art.
Auch unser Hund hat sich wohl gefühlt. Spaziergänge können direkt vom Haus aus unternommen werden, oder auch in der Umgebung.
Wir überlegen uns im nächsten Jahr wieder hin zu fahren.
Owner's Response: Unsern Gästen ein dickes Lob, denn auch sie tragen zu einem Haus bei, in dem sich viele Menschen wohlfühlen :-)
