Makaha Valley Plantation is located about 40 minutes from the Honolulu Airport and 55 minutes from Waikiki Beach. The Makaha Valley Plantation has two swimming pools, barbecue areas, tennis courts, basketball court, wild peacocks, and two championship 18-hole golf courses: 1) Makaha Valley Resort 2) Makaha Country Club. They are both located next door. The Beautiful Makaha beach is a 20 minute stroll or a few minutes to drive. The total distance to this beautiful beach is about 1 1/2 miles from the condo itself. The Beach at Makaha, is wonderful for surfing, swimming, tanning and relaxing. Up the road about five miles, there is also Kaena State Park which is another very beautiful uncrowded beach with great hiking trails along the ocean. You can hike two-and-one-half miles to Kaena Point or the entire five miles to the North Shore of Oahu.

Another nearby attraction (eight miles) is Marriott's Ko Olina Resort which has five man-made lagoons and is an excellent place to swim, snorkel, and relax for the whole family. It is also home to Paradise Cove Luau and Germains Luau which are both great entertainment and a wonderful Hawaiian style meal! This unit is a cut above the rest. Tastefully decorated and has a washer/dryer. Single story with just a few steps to unit. Parking is directly in front of the unit for easy access. Its near the pool and close to security. One Queen bed, one full bed and a futon in the living room. Open lanai with slight ocean view. Please feel free to email me with any questions you have or for more pictures of the property.

This unit is very clean, spacious and close to a fantastic beach. We had four adults and two babies in this rental and were not crowded. Parking was convenient, the rent was a very good value and the owners were great to work with. We WILL rent this unit again.

Our one week stay in late December 2006 was absolutely fantastic. We found the condo in very clean and pleasant condition when checking in with all the necessary supplies we needed to get started. The bedrooms are a dream and the furnishings are beautiful. What a great location in a beautiful part of Oahu. Truly a Perfect Piece of Paradise!
