The vineyard estate Orzale which is situated on a hill top with a wonderful panoramic view was once, in the 18th century, a Franciscan monastery. The owner Mr. Bondi, a passionated wine-grower and painter, has renovated the old buildings very tastefully, six holiday apartments and a separate cottage invite you to an unforgettable stay. Orzale is located far away from the streets. You will find heavenly peace and tranquillity compared to your daily routine. Enjoy the well-kept garden and the wonderful panoramic view. The vineyard encloses 80 ha of land. Here the types of grape are grown from those in old kind and tradition an excellent Chianti (DOCG) is pressed. Also the less known tuscan white wine, grappa and olive oil are products of the property and can be purchased at the estate.

The estate is located about 20 km northwest of San Gimignano. All of Tuscany's sights can easily be reached from here. There are many possibilities for day or half-day excursions. You will reach Florence, Pisa and Siena in about a one hour drive, San Gimignano and Volterra are only a 30 minutes ride from Il Poggio. At the little town Montaione, about 8 kilometers away from the estate, you will find find several shops, restaurants, bank, doctor and pharmacy. Several restaurants are in approx. 3 - 5 km of distance of Orzale.

- supernetter Eigentümer, der sich herzlich um die Gäste kümmert
- abseits des üblichen Toskana-Tourismus
- stilvoll eingerichtetes, sauberes Haus mit separatem Garten
- erstklassiger Chianti D.O.C.G., auf Orzale geerntet und ausgebaut
- inmitten der "typischen" Toskana: Weinberge, Ölbäume, Pinien, Zypressen
- Ausflüge nach Florenz, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano versprechen Kulturerlebnisse
