Photos and Description of this San Francisco holiday apartment 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps 2-4.

Our Garden apartment was built in 2001. It is part of our house built in 1910 (Edwardian) and is located in one of the most fun areas of San Francisco: The Inner Sunset. It is literally 1/2 block from the trolley car which will take you anywhere in the Bay Area. It is 1/2 block from University of California San Francisco and a block from Golden Gate park ( close to the De Young Museum, the Arboretum and the Japanese Tea Garden, the Academy of Sciences and Children's playground. It features hardwood floors and Victorian molding to maintain congruency to the local architecture. The bedroom is located in the rear of the apartment overlooking the garden through French doors leading to a small deck with a table and chairs. It is a very quiet secluded area. We also have an extremely comfortable queen plus sofa bed located in the front of the house living room area.The apartment has a separate entrance to an 1100 square foot (101 sq meters) of uninterrupted space. It is light and airy.

This rental had all the EXTRAS that soothed us at the end of long days of sightseeing: specialty soap in bath, fine linen and down duvets on beds, lovely decor. The unit was spotlessand looked like it was newly renovated, too. The host family was very pleasant and available to help us but not intrusive. Location is wonderful-one block to Golden Gate Park, one to public transportation. Cole Valley neighborhood is full of great eateries such as CHOW and has many bakeries at which you can grab breakfast on the go. A short walk to the Haight area, too. WiFi access was a bonus. A perfect rental! Hope to return in 2010. Many thanks to Pam!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It is very well furnished and equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. Our 8 year-old son was very comfortable in the fold out bed in the living room. It is in a lovely quiet area with plenty of nice restaurants, good public transport connections and is a very short walk from Golden Gate Park. I would recommend this to any couple or small family.
