This charming, single unit, corner property offers everything a vacation goer needs. Family owned and managed since 1952. The house is less than 50 yards from the sand. A perfect getaway for the family or a group of friends, our house has two private bedrooms and is set up to sleep 4-6 very comfortably. Classic beach styling on the outside gives way to modern comforts and conveniences inside such as flat panel TV's and wireless internet access. Unlike hotels and most comparably priced vacation rentals our property offers the privacy and tranquility of a single unit house. Complete with two gated and landscaped yards and parking for up to 3 cars, a big plus in Hermosa where parking is limited. No Shoes... No Shirt...No Problem! Hermosa is one of Southern California's premier beaches. The sand is pristine, the water among the warmest in California.l

Uncle Walt's Beach House Our Family Oasis

My family and I have stayed at Uncle Walt's twice since January and it is our favorite place in the world. It's like stepping into a wonderful world all it's own. Unlike many rentals it has all the tiny personal, welcoming, homey touches one enjoys. Attention has been paid to even the most minute detail. My grandchildren even call it their most favorite house ever and it is our dream to stay there again in the future. It's just the most comfortable, lovely, peaceful and fun place I've stayed and will all the amenities my family could want. I recommend this property to anyone. It's like stepping back into a wonderful '60s beach movie but with all the conveniences of 2009.

Uncle Walt's Beach House was everything they said it would be. Cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic stay at the beach. Great"sun porch" and front yard, enclosed private back yard, great customer service, well maintained, all the amenities we needed. We would recommend it to anyone. We found the best restaurants, shops, had fun walking the boardwalk, people watching, surfing, swimming, and we just plain had a ball. We loved it. We have been there twice already and we plan on returning as often as possible.
