A stylish unit located in the centre of Amsterdam, just 10 minutes walking from the Museum District and Leidse Square, overlooking Central Park (Vondelpark). Shops, supermarkets, cinemas, theaters are nearby. Safe area. Tram 1 stops by door. The apartment has been recently renovated and it features all modern conveniences:international TV, WiFi, internet, DVD, Playstation. Lots of character of a 1906 building, original high ceilings, ensuite large doors, hardwood floor and central heating. Quiet and lots of light. Large living room with comfortable sofa bed, flat TV, DVD, etc. and French balcony. Huge and stylish dining kitchen US style with place for 8 people. Small balcony with gas barbecue. 2 bedrooms, one with large walk-in closet, one with study area and ensuite bathroom, both totally independent from each other. Total of 2 and a half bathrooms. All comfort!

Located on a lively large avenue, running along the large park of the city (Vondelpark). This park is the centre of activity of the city during good weather times, with open-air concerts, competitions, children´s pool, etc. Shops, supermarkets, sport clubs, bicycle rental shops, cinemas, theaters are all nearby. 10 minutes walking to Leidse square, the Times Square of Amsterdam, and Museum District. Tram number 1 stops by door, making transportation really easy to the rest of the city, Central Station and the airport. Car rental right in front of the apartment (Hertz). Other car rental companies available on the street.

Fantastic Amsterdam apartment

Myself and 5 friends stayed in this apartment for a weekend and it is superb. The owner is extremely helpful, acoommodating to requests and responds to queries via email very quickly. The process of booking, paying the deposit and picking up the keys was very easy and smooth and our security deposit was refunded straight away after our stay.

The apartment itself is beautiful - high ceilings and large windows, clean, modern fixtures and fittings, really good sized bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the tram line, opposite Vondlepark and a short walk into the centre.

No hesitations in recommending this apartment for a great stay in Amsterdam and we will definitely book it again.

Great location (right on tram line, near Vondelpark). Great balconies. High Ceilings. Large windows on both ends create open, gracious living space. Nicely decorated. Owner readily available via e-mail, and responsive to questions. Nice view of trees in back. Bedrooms very private. Owner provided multiple sets of keys upon request. Owner accepted deposit in dollars rather than euro. Check in and check out very easy and accomodating. Great neighborhood with wonderful restaurants and just the right distance from the more touristy parts of town. The park provides a wonderful escape from the city. Convenient grocery shopping.

Some issues with cleaning/maintenance, but owner responsive to feedback. Greater instruction needed to opeate complicated entertainment system. Linens not on beds at time of arrival.
